We’re in NW Wisconsin, and expecting anywhere from 6-12”. Southern Bayfield county. Anyone near us? Total newbs, building our coop this spring. Any advice is welcome!

Building a new coop. Someone here may chime in. There is alot of info though on this site if you search around.

South Bayfield county, you may have bear. Want to build strong enough to keep predators out big and small.

Thank you. Yes, we have the whole enchilada of predators here - bear, wolves, foxes, coyotes, bobcats and avian ones as well. Add snakes and we’ll have our work cut out for us.

You could go to the coops section and look at coop builds, and depending on the size of the coop your planning, to that size coop pages.
Lots of ideas to glean from there.

We had a small amount of snow 1/8 of a inch to be exact. Im more in the freezing rain area, they say to expect 1/4-1/2 an inch of freezing rain in my area.

Ice is worse. Especially going outside 15 times a day. Ill try and stay safe
