Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

looks like for me anywhere in the 3 to 15 inches is possible over the course of 2 days. More than likely 6 to 12 inch,
Fennimore and south WI going to have wintry mix, I would rather have the snow than freezing rain.
Chickens are going to be unhappy Wednesday morning. They are going to be at the door ready to charge outside.
Im south of Fennimore, so im not ready for ice again.😕 every time we take the pups out we almost slipped because pet friendly salt does nothing.

we use sand. the darker colored it is, the better
it works, if the sun is shining. the darker sand
absorbs heat better. dark wood chips works, too.
it is supposed to be snowing here in about five minutes.
no guess about how much for this first round.

drove to town earlier, slight snow shower, roads good. Walked back out 15 minutes later looked like a blizzard.......
Traffic in 1 lane going home.
Didnt last long but, sure made everything white again.

update on pails with ports. The pails are somewhat messy also, but not near as bad as the little giant. I move the stand I made for the pail, clean up the mess underneath and put that spilled feed into the little giant. I still put some feed in the little giant for the roosters. I do see the roosters at times doing cleanup under pails.
