Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I went had chickens butchered I contacted before I made appointment. They ask for old motor oil. I brought up dont remember 5 or 7 gallons. I bought maple syrup and the onions .25 each, heck the store was .99 pound. I bought their tray onions. Guess they do a pie sale on saturdays. Very reasonable gave me more for the oil than I expected, wasnt expecting really get anything at all, they offered. All good.

What in the world do they want with the used oil?
I run mine through a funnel with a coffee filter to catch
anything and then mix it 50/50 with chain bar oil for my
chainsaws. Works really well.
Good job with the corn sales. I bought 5 doz (13 cobs ) from a neighbor for $20.

Stay Safe ... bigz

for freezing.

used motor oil for their equipment, whatever they are using chains on equipment etc. My planters I spray with a flowable grease before storing for winter, the moving parts chains.

It's possible Badger farm that is the start of molt, although if she is being serviced by a rooster then he could be leaving tracks on her back.
The molt can be light or heavy, however my experience is that the first molt is usually light and not as severe as an almost balding molt can be with older hens.

No rooster anymore, so molt it is! Thank you!

for many weeks I have been unable to get into byc
yesterday GS showed up for a visit and he straightened out my computer.
I have been busy building shelves and putting up peg board in the lawn mower shed.
