Took the pups to the woods yesterday…. They had a blast.

The floor in the woods is white here.
Looks like we will be having a white Christmas
this year!

At first they said we'd get around 9", now they say about 6". I think we got about 3" on top of 1", but still coming down.

Your "hen" is missing a lot of feathers.

Is that daylight?! What a bold one that is. Or you have very good barn lights. Or maybe a very good camera.

Merry Christmas and Happy News Years. Nice warm spell were having.

The barn. It was daylight and lights on and cell camera works pretty good.

The possum, had to eradicate it. Could of grabbed it throw it out, but just come back. It had eaten a egg. Unfortunately little guy made the wrong turn, cant blame little guy. They eat to.

It always feels good to enjoy the family together.
Enjoying the decent weather too. I'll prolly get
out in the woods and swing the saw. We have
numerous large ash trees down that need cut up.
It's always so enjoyable to spend time in the woods.
It is truly a different world from the normal daily
hustle.

my wineing and brewing is all done.
yesterday I bottled 35 half liters of beer.
it should be ready to sample on jan9/25.
it turned out darker than I expected. almost a bock. that's ok, I like bock.

Picked up some carboys a few months ago to make mead (I have a few gallons of honey to experiment with). Just need to get water that is not treated city water and start making a few batches.

Spent Christmas Day taking the dogs to the woods again. My in-laws dog joined us for the walk (blonde dog)
