Hi everyone. Hope everybody's hatching season is going well. Winding down for me, lots of chicks, probably more than I should have hatched. Looks like I'll have alot of birds to sell this fall, especially roosters. So anyone looking for Blue/Black ameraucanas, Blue cochins, silver spitzhaubens, blue copper marans, cayuga ducks, bobwhite quail..... let me know. Also decided I have to get rid of some of my colored sebastopol ganders. Only ended up with 3 babies this year, I believe due to too many males and fighting. Have 5 girls and 7 boys. I would like to get $25 each on the males (will sell 2 gray and one buff). This is half of normal price, as I paid $50 each when I bought my breeders from holderreads.

Good luck to everyone still hatching. STill got quail and guineas going here, as well as a few peacocks for a neighbor

actually at the time it died on me for like the 5th time, I almost pushed it into a busy intersection.

I was soooooo mad at that thing. I sold it for "parts". check CL but be careful. DH and I both got a car from CL this spring, mine

Jim, hope your appt. went well. Noone knows squat about the new small engines because #1, your tiller is most likely older than the average age of the employees there and 2, they probably can't read Chinese.

Oh, DK, that was a heartbreaking story about the baby coon. I have a monster momma that raises her babies in our yard every year, and so far she has not caused many problems, knock on wood. Although she does prefer showing her little ones how to destroy my bird feeders.

But I have a yard full of food sources for all kinds of critters, so she rarely causes us any grief, and she's been around a good 4 or 5 years.
I spent a good part of the day yesterday potting up tomato & pepper plants too. I had alot of big pots out in the greenhouse, & since the new veggie garden is still a no-show, into the pots they went & joined the chives & dill on the back patio. I still have entirely way more peppers than I'll ever have pots for, though.
Guess I'd better go finish up the dishes.
