Ok people, important ??? here. I see on the pic from last year that you are all by a pavillion with a concrete slab. Is that where the majority of the goings-on will be? Or will it be more in the grass?
The reason I ask is I want to know what would be better to get around in at the bash, a wheelchair or a scooter? And if you say scooter, will it fit into the handicapped stall in the ladies room? The stall isn't long & skinny, is it? Just hate those. What kind of a contortionist.......?????????????
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for direction help raim...when folks going north out of c-ville be in the right lane and when you see the sign for the pigeon river about 4 miles north the right turn is just after the river...have the blinker on. You made it, only up the road across the river then first left.

My hens are laying pretty well too....that's cause they are happy boids...yep, I spelled boids right

Hope all attending have a great time! We'll be moving my sister tomorrow so I will be around to help keep the thread up front

Paper work this am until I have to get the kids from summer school and then into Madison to start work on another unit that needs to be ready for July 1 or a couple days before if possible

Our chickens are doing great we average about 10 eggs a day here- we get our feed from the mill and I usually go buy it weekly so we hopefully get fresh! Our Turkeys are big wasters of feed, this group won't clean up the spillage off the ground so we got a pan that you put under a water heater to sit under the feeder and it works great to catch most of the spills- the feed is then dumped back in!

Probably have to clean pens this weekend too, they are all looking kind of gross

Carol- when the wheaten Ameraucana pullet you got from me, starts to lay let me know what color the egg is!

Jim, I'll take the guinea eggs !!!! I can't see them going in the fry pan !!!! I love guineas !!!!! No matter what color. I still need to hatch out some for the neighbor so that will work out !!! Maybe if I give them all the white then we'll be able to identify who's birds are who's if they decide to play musical farms !!!

No one has mentioned the size of the eggs they are getting. Mine seem to be smaller then usual. DH seems to think they are moulting. Would that cause a smaller egg then usual???
We feed a custom mix from the feed mill. It is almost 21% Protien. Plus I have extra vitamins added because I raise silkies and sell hatching eggs so don't want any lack of vitamins. With is being grains you know the vitamins they add may fall to the bottom of the food tray so wanted to make sure they get some.
I can bring some showgirl hatching eggs and maybe some silkie eggs if anyone is interested. I also have extra Black Ameraucana , Blue Splash Maran and Copper Maran Roosters available. They are about a year old. I also have a few extra bantam Necked Neck Roosters, 6 months old !!!

I'll tell ya, I should open a rooster rescue !!! I hate to cull them but my feed bill is paying to feed my flock which is 1/2 roosters !!!

Thanks for the reminder of the white elephant gift !!! Almost forgot !!! So if two people are coming do we bring two gifts????

Looks like we will be stopping in Birnamwood and picking up a draft size forecart I found on Craigs list. Good thing, then I can bring it with and ask all of you smart mechanics how to put brakes on it. And while your at it you can tell me how to put brakes on my big hay wagon that I have yet to use. I am a beginner driver (of horses) and we live on a hill so we need brakes on our carts. The kids would have a good time pulling the forecart around but I guess it weighs about 600 lbs. They'd sleep well though

Hopefully I can then start driving my horses !!! Darn chickens are taking up all of my time (that and the internet I am obsessed with) especially this thread !!!!

I can see us all now sitting at the picnic tables with our laptops posting each other on BYC.

And the real addicts will have hauled in their desktops, they'll have to plug in in the kitchen right???

Well, have TONS to do today if I want to be able to stay until late evening tomorrow night !!! Waiting for hens to lay some more eggs today. Have an order to fill and they are not cooperating today !! Must be enjoying the nice weather instead of doing their jobs !!

Just got off the phone, customer will wait until Sunday for eggs !! One less thing to do today (deliver eggs)

Doesn't mean the girls can still slack off though !!

Just asked DH what we should bring for White Elephant and he said "How bout a Tractor"??? Does need an overhaul though !!!! Never mind it won't fit on our trailer !!!

I'll bring some white and green Hostas if anyone is interested ..

I was thinking we should all have those "My pet makes me breakfast" bumper stickers so we can identify each other on the road !!! Plus would give you a heads up not to flip each other off if in deed you are driving stupid !!!

Not that the feathers flying out your windows would give any indication that you're on the way to the bash !!! And if you couldn't get your hands on a bumper sticker you could always wear one of those plastic chicken beak masks !!! Well, maybe not !!!! We'd all get pulled over for innatentive (sp) driving !!!

Anyone bring yard games ie ladder ball, Croquet etc???? I have a brand new ladder ball game I can bring. Just the cheapy plastic ladder though. I wanted to make a new ladder out of PVC but that is on my to do list !!

The balls on my ladder ball are egg shaped !!!
