Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Early morning for me as well. Only on my second cup. Sent the DH off to work for a week. Will be a very quiet week. I have some me time planned, might even get a pedicure. Off to the coop..

Jim..Steel Oats is a great suggestion..leftovers are wonderful for the chickens.

delisha & CC - I think that our coop will hold a max of 6-7 adult birds and we have 3, so between the 2 of you IF I get sexed birds I can take a total of ~4-6 and unsexed at ~8-10 chicks (to allow for die off). So that's between 2-4 from each of you. Will that work for you both? CC-I'd like to try the Lav Orps if possible.

Mornin all,

Sittin at FF for some scratch, flock prolly circling house pecking windows and such.....Creepy. I bout forgot anything else after Jim's comments. LOL. I'd like some of those hens too Jim. "on the first day of Christmas my Jim Hen laid an egg......on the 12th day of Christmas we just plucked her for dinner and had a big soo ooh FLAAAAY."

Also, right before you fall through, I think you should at that point, have a couple of donuts and a cuppa juice. HILARIOUS.

Maybe one lavender pullet you get from CC and one from this project.
maybe CC will trade a few lavender for a few of these project birds. They should be pretty big. The Blue Cockerel is going to keep growing for quite a while.(10 lbs) The pullet cross is an average American Orpington size. 6 lbs

No tractors? Forget it When they pry it from my cold dead hands! Gettin tired of no sun! Bf4me
