Hi All!
Congrats on the hatching and Job! Jim, you were in good form today.... got in some good ones

I know I'm missing stuff, long day for me too CC! Dr.H must have spent the day with his dad of did I miss his post?
Woke up and the BR TV was quiet. It was off! May not sound like a big deal but it's been on it's last legs for over a year. It was getting harder and harder to get it to turn on once it turned off. So I just left it on. Yea, it sucked juice, but if I wanted to watch the shows I like, that was my only choice. Well...."it's dead Jim" Got another big 'ol TV in the garage that should work, we'll see.
I figured since I don't have TV I'll surf the net a bit. Got the laptop all set up and no Wifi!!! I looked and the Wifi receiver is gone. (We have Cricket) OK, son took it too his room and forgot to bring it back before work? I went and looked, no Wifi! Looked all through the house... nope! So I called him.... it was in his pocket!!!

He wasn't going to be home 'till about 10:30! So my sit down "break times" were rather boring

Thought about starting a book.... but I wouldn't get Jack Sh!t done until the book was done

The main reason I haven't been doing much reading lately. Rest of the day went pretty much the same....

Clothes to fold then bed.... Night All!

I ordered from "purelypoultry". I think I may have gone a bit overboard. We have a rather large coop (20x20' at least) , inside a fantastic over 100yr old ENORMOUS barn, so I thought to myself "self, you need to fill this up!" . Factoring in loss....I ordered 25 rainbow layers, 15 rare breed, and 25 "hatchery choice" which could be any kind of chick, bantam, meat, layer, duck or turkey!!...and oh yeah....Four crested ducklings.

Then....this crazy broad thought....well you can't let that incubator you got for Christmas go unused....and being up in the middle of the night with a teething 14mo old.....I, in some moment of insanity purchased 10 sultan eggs, and 12 easter egg layer eggs. <slaps forehead>. I'm jumping into this headfirst!!

So being fortunate enough to have a very large basement that has several rooms. Yesterday, we went about turning one into a brooder/nursery. So now......just awaiting chicks!!

wow..when you do something you do it big. I am a bit jealous of your coop inside of a barn. That is going to be so very nice. We will be looking forward to all of your baby pictures and coop pictures.

Ok, I have to get this out. And I can't do it where I should because it would be obvious who I'm talking about and I don't want to hurt anyones feelings. BUT, I participate in some of the BYC swaps and it drives me absolutely nuts when someone has an offer up for a very long time (like weeks) and when someone finally accepts it they turn around and claim that offer. Then offer the same stuff that took weeks to claim! And not only do they tie up one swap, but multiple ones at the same time. Its been driving me nuts. Had to get it out.

Anyone interested in a neutered black American Fuzzy Lop? My mom is part of an Angora rescue group and was asked to pick him up yesterday. He was full of mats so we had to shear him. But he seems healthy overall.
