and I also Ordered Imported Gold laced Orpington..ugh..they are ridiculously priced..If anyone wants any of these please let me know..I might be able to get a discount if I can get more. I only ordered 4 and I still can't breath about the price.

I know the last auction of Foley SLW(3) and BLRW(3) met the asking price at 251.00 (+50.00 p&h) and thats when I stopped watching. That is why I asked you about Foley selling chicks again. He could not fill all (1/2) his orders last year.....Just wondering....

flocks....Rudy must be a hell of a roo if he left his spurs in a possum! You have a 14lb rooster?! Is it half turkey? LOL Wow... I think I would make him his own big pen and give him a few "select" big girls. Kinda reminds me of the guinea pig we had. He was 4 1/2 lbs. and NOT FAT! He was just big all over. Tried breeding him a few times and lost 3 females in the process. Sometimes you just can't breed large males without issues.

LOL! Rudy is a in charge kinda roo which is funny because when we got him he was at the bottom of the pecking order. He's a very old boy now, but still goes strong and is very protective of his girls. He's the only roo that can't decide which house is his. He's got girls in every one. His favorite lady came with him. She still lays and every summer I can count on her to go broody. One year my son shoved 16 eggs under her. She took care of everyone of them. I'm planning to separate Rudy and his two remaining girls to check on fertility again this year. I love that line and their resistance to all things brought by wild birds.

Fat B is all dark Cornish as far as I know. Got the eggs from a breeder in Illinois. I don't think he's gotten much bigger, but big he is. I still want to eat him. We likes our roasted birds big. I also raise BBWs and Midget Whites. Our BBWs are known to get very very large. I have regular orders for 50 plus pounders every year. Like I said we likes em big. This year I got some trades going for a few other heritage breed turkeys, but the only ones we plan to keep for breeders are the white Hollands.

I did!!!!!! Still working on hubby to let me order up more! I got the feel now might be my last chance!!!!! Someday I'm going to hit up delish for all my breeding program needs ;-) but I need the good ones now since I will keep my girls around even when their too old to lay lol. Hubby just knows we're going to be over run with a bunch of useless chickies!!!!! Lol don't ever tell him, but he's soooo right!!
