I am glad you're home safe with your new bird..they are so sweet..you will really love them..
I sure hope my eggs in the bator are fertile from them. I have two from the hen and two from the pullet.

We have this little orange thing in the garage...looks like a boombox...has jumper cables...air compressor...but its also like a mini generator as you can plug things into...think I paid like 100.00...worth every penny. Was just thinking for those of you wih bators and possible electricity failures thru spring storms....might be worth locating yours and making sure charged up...or buying one. Like I said..very handy item. I have it always with us when we go camping...has come in handy.

Anyone know exactly what this is? Brand, description, pic, where to get? Something? Sounds awesome.

Hi All,

what slop that was to plow ..wet, wet, wet.. If this stuff freezes, I am going to have wall to wall ice.. I did a couple of swipes down the neighbor's driveway and cleaned out around their mailbox.

CC, that orange box can be bought at F&F, I think Menard's or at any auto parts store.. It might be called a power pack, or just ask for the thing that can be used to jump start a car..

got 2 more guinea eggs today..She showed me a couple of hidden nests that the chickens are using..

I told Annie to start saving goose eggs, too..

I got my second order for guinea keets.. this guy wants 25 of them..

gonna take a short nap, maybe.. or else I might run to town for awhile..

What am I thinking, trying to add geese when all summer I'll be waddling to and fro....hey, maybe I'll fit right in, huh?

And here comes the water. The creek went from a trickle to a medium river in a day. My pair of Welshies found it immediately, and they are pleased as punch. Anyone getting duck eggs without supplemental light? Haven't gotten an egg yet, and she's 10 months old.

Kids were up at my folks all weekend, and DH was out of town Sat, came home with the kids on Sun. I took advantage and cleaned cleaned cleaned the house I neglected for 3 months due to morning sickness induced apathy. I love when I can do things uninterrupted, and blast MY music all day.

Nice to see you DrH. Can you come paint my master bed and bath a nice gray-blue next?

If you are going to waddle around with the geese,, wear a cap so we can tell you apart..

Yes JJ that is "our own" Twain...DH of MLH that used to come on and chat with us every once in a while...MLH--we miss you! It's almost riding season...that comes right after MUD season ya know! Pop in...even just to say hi, same old, same old!

Goaties are doing great! They are starting to bounce around now. I love when they do that. I have one ewe and one doe to go and then they are done. I will be glad, than I dont have to worry about them having them and then the babies falling into the water tank.

Kids want to make some cookies....I guess I better help!
