Poor kitty! Just like the innocent possums & skunks, always getting the blame for others misdeeds...............turkeys anyone?

and my "chicken friendly cat" was observed by me this morning licking the inside of a broken egg in the nesting cabinet. I don't know if he broke it himself or happened upon it, but I do not like it one bit.
What did they do to old yeller for eatin eggs?
Speaking of poor kitties, Bigz bring that poor baby inside. He's crying for a reason. What's one more, anyway? It's cold out there!![]()
I would normally totally agree with you, Amy, but at this time of the year, if it was a house cat & someone dumped him, he wouldn't have a winter coat. But what you suggest is much better than nothing at all, if the cat will use it.Bigz, OR give him a box with a blanket in it. Our two outdoor kitties get along fine with a medium rubbermaid tote with a hole cut in the lid and filled with pillow stuffing.

I had an australorp that layed 2 in a day. She was coming off brood with 4 male babies in tow no one else to lay besides her.I like how you think CC! Of course that is how I got 10 cats! DD is painting the kids' nails and then we are headed to the airport. I sure hopw the temps stay up...it is kind of snow/sleet/rain out there now. I am not a fan of driving in weather; especially with other people's kids in the car!
I have a weird happening to report and am looking for feedback: Yesterday I told you about that nice blue/green egg I got from my new pullet. Well today there were 2 eggs in there again; BOTH BROWN!!!! Now either this hen can lay both colors or the other one laid 2 eggs in 1 24 hour period. What do you all think? I havent heard of either happening. There is no way another hen could have gotten into their pen either.
Ready to head out...later! TerriOlookingatalongdrive
Our Olive Egger sometimes lays 2 eggs in one day. Must lay one early in the a.m. and then one later in the evening before we get home to gather them. They are "usually" the same color though!I have a weird happening to report and am looking for feedback: Yesterday I told you about that nice blue/green egg I got from my new pullet.
