Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

nice spring day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,somewhere

Jim, you have a nice hill in your driveway,,,,,put the pup and the dead bird in a barrel, fasten the lid,,,roll the barrel down that hill,,,,,repeat for a few rolls. Better do it now while he still fits in a barrel!

the bigger the hill the better, if you had someone to tag along to help,, as I recall there are some dandy hills in your area,,,,just need someone else to help at the bottom,,,,,this DOES work. Learned the trick from one of the best dog men this state has ever seen...used to break gun dogs from running deer this way using the head, legs, and hide in the barrel with the dog,,,

sounds crazy and definitely not PC these days but it works

speaking of dogs, Jake was out with me while I did chores. He came to the door when I called him doing his terrier jumping high to get in trick,,,ripped a pad. I left him in then went to the tractor and swept it off, came back in and there were bloody footprints all over the carpet and the couch,,,DD is cleaning the mess, we got the foot washed, dried, and applied styptic, Now to keep him calm (yeah right) hopefully it heals fast.....ugggg

I like the barrel idea. but I don't think I could wrestle him into it.. he is already 3 inches; at the back ,, taller than Dora.. and she weighs in at over 80 pounds.. and I don't want to get bitten ,accidentally or otherwise..

we bought a shocking collar a few years ago for our border collie.. the concept was good, but we couldn't get the collar to work.. sent it all back .. I think a different collar should be tried.. will go online to shop and see what is out there..

I fed and watered in record time today.. too cold to dally ,,

I have to weigh in at the Dr today.. I am going to wear the lightest clothes I can find..

2 quail pips so far. No peeps

I never considered this before. Someone here must know. Does it matter if the pip is up or facing down on an egg?

OOOOHHHHHH CC.... Someone is getting Chocolate Orpington eggs.

If I get an extra roo, you can buy one at a discount. Then I get Hershey eggs with chocolate daddy input in trade...

Not feeling very spring-like outside today! Good frigid morning! Everything is frozen here once again...I think the breaker popped during the night. I am in warming up with a cuppa and then back out. I might give Cheryl a call and tell her I might be a little late! BRRR is all I can say! Cute ground hog pic...I wonder how they got him to lay down like that? LOL! You guys stop talking about those little turkeys! I might have to get some. They sound adorable. Do the Toms gobble like the big ones do but in a squeakier voice? H&R just called--or course she is running perfectly on time! LOL! We pushed our meeting time back to 9:30 to head to Vicky's. Guess I have to stop getting warm and head back out and see if anything is better. Have a good one! TerriOgladforthealpacawollsockstoday
I suppose we could make them squeaky, but I wouldn't know how. No the toms gobble just like any other Tom. Fight too for that matter. If you handle them a lot they will be extremely friendly. I can sit down and have midgets climbing into my lap or under my arms for cuddling or hugs. They love to play and chase things and are just plain fun to have around. You will have to come out and see them sometime. They are really sweet birds.
