Thank you everyone for the comments on the pics. That dress is one my DD found on Craigslist; orig price was $400, she paid less than half that for it. A good score on her part! The girls went to one of the local cosmetology schools to get their hair and make-up done, I thought the students did a fine job.


Bleh.... I caught some sort of bug and after making cinnamon rolls for the post-prom breakfast, I have been vegging out all day watching movies. Started out with The Hunger Games, then watched The Mask of Zorro, Dead Again, a documentary on The Hunger Games, an episode of Stormchasers, and then a few episodes of Mythbusters....

I think it is time for bed.

Just got home from down south (Beloit) with a couple of girls from JustJohn on the way back from Evanston. They're still snuggled in the box together (with the lid off) and I think that's where they aim to stay for the night. Thanks John! It was great to meet you in person! Hmmmmm..... Well, I was meaning to post but I guess I just got down right lazy.... No other excuse. I was gonna make up something but then I'd probably forget what I said and get caught in a lie !!! LOL You know Jim would catch me in it and I'd never hear the end of it !!!

Sorry if I worried anybody !!! So Doc is missing in action too ????? No wonder I didn't hear from him. Last time I went missing he emailed me. It was Cind's turn this time. And I do recall Bf4m calling and checking in on me once or twice.... It sure feels good to be missed !!!!

Actually to tell you the truth I went down to Racine on Christmas Eve and was going to come back home by New Years and my niece asked me to Baby Sit. Well one day turned into a week and a week turned into a month and I didn't come back home until Feb !!!! LOL Not to worry though Winter waited for me and we still have tons of snow which I'm sure Jim, Dan and the rest of you Northerners know all to well.

Anyway, I had to go to McDonalds while I was in Racine to use the internet and I didn't want to be there for hours trying to keep up with all of you chatter boxes !!! Especially with the crowds that hung out there. One day the cops came walking in to talk to one of the managers.... He had followed his girlfriend out to her car and harassed her. She called the cops..... Nice safe Racine !!!!

Another excuse I have is my laptop was malfunctioning.... The fan would stop and it would get overheated...... can you imagine what it would have done while I tried to catch you guys up with all of my BS !!!! LOL
So before I get accused of filling a whole page I'll end this post and start another later. !!!! Oh and by the way all you newbies....... Welcome !!!

I meet the new neighbors today, I think we'll get along! Young (to us) couple. They are getting married this summer. He was raised in the country, she said they hardly notice the roosters already. I'm going to set some gates so they have the choice if they want the birds to come do "bug patrol" in their yard. They also have a friend who has chickens, so that's cool. We seem to mesh on a few other things too. Hope it works a well at it seems it will.
