Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I got another question, I have some 4 week old chicks that are living in a corner of my coop. They have about 4 inches of sawdust under them. The bottom inch is a little wet. Whenever I go to check on them, they are always in a dug up corner that has some wet sawdust. Is that all right? They are in a coop with a light on them.

Oh man it's gettin' deep in here...BRB--gotta get my boots! I decided to make a leg 'o lamb on the grill for dinner tonight. Roasted Reds and cauli or brocc. Not sure which. Maybe Hollandaise too, depends on the time I have.
BORING GOLF on the television. Deli and I were just talking about that today...I guess Hockey is coming on soon. I will be heading out to do chores!

OMG he is trying to spic the leg...I might as well do it myself! I say where the stuff is and he CANT FIND IT!

SO COlton...do you only build coops? I want to know how many diapers you have changed since Michael has come home? LOL! He sure is a cutie!

DEli--that quail obviously didnt want to come and live here! It was just waiting so it could stay with you. I hope you and Joe made it home OK...you know it WAS starting to snow...again.

OK--I need to go on outside and finish chores for today. I need to start up the water...we stopped at F&F and got the feed I forgot to order from my mill. It will last me until Monday at least.
Kids Mom still isnt here with my $$$! I need to pay for hay tomorrow and I told him I would have CASH! I got DH to agree to go with me and get a load. If it is raining/snowing(like it is supposed to)I will ask if I can come on Monday instead!

Later good people! TerriOgladthecoverallsarecleanonceagainforaday

As long as they arent shivering and wet I would think it was OK. TO

Thanks, and I don't just build coops. This is actually only my second. I built my nesting boxes out of scrap from my dad. There was 4 more boxes and a roost that went over it. Working very well. I also built an entry unit. Entry was 10 ft. wide so I walled up most and had my dad help me put in an actual door. I am most proud of my poop board though. It was under the roost and keeps the poop levels way down.

Diaper Count: Only 1, so far

I have snowberries growing along the north side of my barn. They are very shade tolerant. Spireas are too, as are most species of viburnum.
Cotoneasters are supposed to be shade tolerant, but I've never had any of those.

Celtic...what is a snowberry. are they an edible? Never heard of that one!

OKK...

Cook out at my house Saturday May 18th...for chick pick up. Pm for details please. And yes Robin..Of course you are always welcome..well unless you continue to call me big butt

I am sure you will get many more turns at changing diapers in the near future. I always looked at diaper changes like calf roping in the rodeo. Many of the hand movements are the same and both should be judged by how fast you complete them. It used to make my wife crazy when I would finish a diaper change and throw my hands in the air like the cowboys and ask if it was a new record. Both kids thought it was fun anyway.

?!?!?!?!? I wish I had a spelling for the noise I just uttered after reading this! That was not what I meant. I swear!

Oh dear, I am never going to be forgiven for that one, and I can't even blame it on alcohol. Darn! And I've got witnesses for my error too.

Maybe going by your place to eat is a bad idea. I did, after all, just tell you what I was allergic to.
