I would still like to try to hatch some chicks [like some orps] anyone like to sell some eggs? C.C. Delish.... thought maybe cuties could bring some back from the girls cookout. If i have some luck with that I want to try some jubi-orps. Should have a nicer second coop set up by then. Wont be free rangeing them to often, at least not unattended.

I have a quick question. We have a predator issue with our ducks, what ever it was it left the head in the run behind the coop and the body was eaten on the other side of the property but not the wings. We've only found one body and one head but are missing one more duck too. We are in the woods so it could basically be anything, but I was curious if the signs point at any particular predator. I have seen a fisher around here last winter, DH seen a bobcat, we hear coyotes, and I know the people at the end of the road (1/4 mile) feeds racoons.

Kudos to Gov Walker on his trip to China. He secured a 10 year deal worth 400 million for the Wi ginseng growers and some clean water deals with (wedc). Way to go!

Fired up the weber today even though it was chilly out....Venzun filet mignon and lobster tails grilled to perfection with baked spuds, home canned beets and ho-made apple pie.

other than that I had a good day, got 10 ducks home and settled in, my duel broody girls have some chicks peeping under them, one chick was actually out and about today for a few minutes,,,
