I went to madison Children's museum today to pick up my last 3 marans and suprise suprise one of them had grown a comb and those tell tale light stripes.

Sadly this is what our weekend started with fri when we got home :'( :'( :'( nala is doing very well. And I cannot beleive how good she is already getting around. Thank goodness for dr. Thompson and the wonderfull staff at country hills in eden! I was on the phone with 2 clinics at a time called 6 before they agreed to see us. Otherwise it would have been a tooooo expensive trip to fox valleyclinic. I know we could NOT have afforded them. So much for having zero balance on the plastic when the taxes arrive.
But shes alive and well ♡

I read up...finally! But have to be up at1:30 for work :-( 12hours five days a week for at least 2weeks!

On that note, got tons done with this wonderfull weather!
And it is time for bed.

Cuties, did I miss something???? What happened to your kitty? I agree with you about FVC, WAY too expensive for these parts..... give me a good country vet anytime!

Judge, happy belated birthday!!!!! What craft show did you end up going to? I am sorry about your baby, good thing kids are pretty 'bendy' when they are young so they can take that kind of body punishment and bounce back faster than we ever would!

What the heck, what happened to Frenchie AGAIN!!

Busy day today; headed out to Appleton to help support a co-worker's Sole Burner team fundraiser. They held a silent auction....

After than we headed over to the in-laws who had the ducks out!

They said they figured out how to catch them easily; just grab a shovel and turn some dirt over, they are almost underfoot when you do that and really easy to catch. Glad they are enjoying the duckies.

I would prefer them to be with us though....

Youngest DS is supposed to have baby chicks hatched out by tomorrow. I plan on stopping in and checking on things in the morning..... just have to be nosy.......

Off to bed for me, too much fresh air. That and I am almost 2 chapters in on my book. I think I have met my mentor for the rest of my life!

Nice pictures Kritip- wish I knew...
Well my birthday weekend ended up terribly. DS3 took a head over heels spill down the upstairs steps (square wooden) at my parents house this morning. He is so beat up, and we spent the afternoon in the ER. Poor baby looks rough, but they said he didn't show signs of a head injury, so I just have to wake him every 3hrs to be sure.
So- that's pretty much it.

And with that, I think I have to hit the hay. We got a lot of stuff done this weekend with the wonderful weather (about time!). DH made me a private double decker cage for the rabbits. They are going to love it!

And he made a bigger roost for the chickies too. We had a few temporary ones scattered about for the winter until he could get something permanent done. So they are loving that too. Nice to get a few things crossed off the list. Sweet dreams, all!

I'm working my first night shift. Can't leave until midnight, then 30min Drive home.

First night Dan has the kids right? He thinks he's gonna do something nice and takes the kids to a park. My 9 yr old chips both his front teeth within 2 min of getting there!!! Fricking A! I see caps in his future since those are his permanent teeth.well dad had to take him to the on call dentist at 8pm!

Trial by fire for my hubby I guess... poor Hogan too! :-(

I suppose with a 4 way split if everyone likes some sort of "waste meat" it's hard to split 1 heart, 1 tongue, 1 tail etc. I'll only take the tongue if your sure you don't want it and it's OK with Suzie!

Well, I didn't want to disturb Storky anymore so I'll check later for more chicks. The other one I settled in is staying and making noise at every little thing! When I locked up I noticed the roosts looked a little "light" so I started looking for birds... didn't have to look far. 1 hen in each of the favorite 2 nests and the sister to the 2nd broody was settled down in the loft! I DON'T need 4 broodys!!! Plus one with a brood! And the 2 broody turkeys!!!

I don't have the space!!!

Aw, thanks guys I feel better about nala now. Of coarse I would do that sergey 100 x again. ButI was getting so sick of people telling me how much ccheaper bullets would be :-( I know shes a cat... but how horrible!
Nala is 1yr 9 mo. She was sooo wild when we got her from a farm that was shooting their cats because they seeemed "sick" we took along time to catch her. I took her to spayme clinic at sun prairie, got feluke test and shots. She was all clear. My daughter spent soo much time (tuna included) taming her. She's now very friendly and sleeps with her every night ♡

I do think she was hit by a car. She has some road rash looking sores, and her front claws are shredded. She got to sleep by syd last night and is still very good this morning.
Happy belated judge sorry about your kiddo tho :-(
