JV - sounds great! I've talked to my DH and he says yes to the geese. I told him I'd like a pr of saddleback pomeranians, too and he says fine. He's also with me on getting a pr of turkey as well as some ducks. We're talking about making a big enclosure that's 7ft high and putting in a pond, tree branches, a raised shelter so they can go under it for shade, maybe an A-frame perch for whomever wants to roost, etc... And then whatever chickens I don't care if they're mixed or just want for egg laying can all go in the huge enclosure. The chix that I want to keep seperated will have their own mini areas.
I live just outside of the Dells. Outside of Reedsburg.

Spent the day cleaning bricks for a new pen and for a small feed building. I think it will take a while to clean these bricks.

I have done a variety of jobs in my day, but I never cleaned a brick.. can you clean just one side and place the dirty side down ?

what kind of entertainment can you do over the phone ? Oh wait,,,,,nevermind...

( PM and I have not had lunch yet.. think I will go up and warm up the pork roast and spuds and gravy with creamed corn on the side..

I can't come to the Bash this year after all.

My Aunt died recently and her family has set the date for her memorial service and gathering for June 1st in Chicago.

Hope all you moms had a great day!
Went to church this morning with my parents and the kiddos. There was a baptism so mass lasted and hour and a half. The kids did pretty good considering.
Then off to a local supper club for brunch with DH and his family and then to my brother and SIL house for supper. The kids played outside all evening, but DS3 is still refusing sleep. DH is upstairs with him.
Here is the baked alaska I made. Turned out really great-



Gave the ducklings some extra straw tonight considering it is supposed to freeze tonight. Hopefully this will be it until fall. Bought two blueberry bushes and 3 apple trees yesterday. Can't wait to get them planted.
