I can tell you I do not want to move to Wyoming. Beautiful to visit but I like woods too much. Off to Devil's Tower and then to our campsite in Sheridan. Hope to be in Yellowstone by tomorrow!

Good idea. That thing is skinny enough to fit between the counter and the wall. If camp ever gets a kitchen revamp, wouldn't it be funny to find it back there?

My mom has a very similar setup in her kitchen with her sink/counter right next to the stove. Can't tell ya how many times I had to get knives out of there because I had the skinniest fingers in the family.

I would love to have a battery chicken or two....how do you find or get them? (I know that my taking one or two doesnt make any impact, its more a selfish desire to watch a chicken go from that to being allowed to run around and free range etc.)

It really is amazing, and heartbreaking at the same time, to watch a full grown hen touch her toes to grass for the first time. When they discovered the loose sand next to the coop under the ramp (it was several days before they would go more than a few feet from the pophole) and figured out they could actually dust in it, they went at it so hard I had to eventually break it up because they were all getting cramps!!!

Still raining here....sounds like tomorrow too.

I'll take another serious look tomorrow amy. I know delish said she dried it, so I can't imagine it ended up a frizbee or tossed in the garbage.

Nothing new here...the bucks are growing fast, so we added another box to the original one. They sure are getting pretty. I'll have to build a grow-out pen for them in my large coop to get the older hens use to them. I wonder how lefty is gonna like the new crows when they start? He's gonna give them the evil left eye....

Golf lessons were canceled due to the rain, so now i am online wasting an evening daydreaming about hobby farm businesses-someday!!!! (Bees, tolbunt polish chickens, raise butterflies, organic produce, deer processing, maybe go back to breeding parrots, and online tech writing as needed! sound like a plan?)>sigh<

Oh and BBP and I starting a dispensary!!!! lol
