good still raining evening,

I got the eggs switched around and made room for a few dozen more.. I have over 320 of my own eggs set, not to mention JP's and Marlene's..

I think this hatch is over.. had 100% of the turkeys hatch.. 6/6

there are two batches due tomorrow.. guineas and the first of the Barocks...

TerriO, were you nipping a bit before typing tonight ?

Pedialyte is electrolytes for kids right? Is this to extend them or make them stronger? Inquirying minds want to know! (and learn)

I want her !!!! She would fit in well with my two 13 yr old girls !!! Along with my Rooster Rescue I could have Sandi's Senior Small Dog Retirement home !!! SSSDR !!

Man it was so cold Saturday night the girls didn't sleep in there bed. Well they never really do, that bed is for the van. They sleep in bed with us but on top of the covers but NOT Saturday night. They both slept under the covers of the sleeping bag and that was a first I know for Butt Dog !! She's not a snuggler, she loves her lovin but then she sleeps on top and by herself.
Does anyone know how cold it got Saturday night.
I'll take the blame for it...... cause we bought a fan just in case it got to hot in the tent.....

I can't wait till next year. I was scouting out Good Will today and yesterday looking for unique things. Spotted something today but I have a year so I didn't buy it. The hunt is on !!!

She hung out with your girls quite a bit, one of your girls made a friend in Joe..he really liked her and though she was so sweet. He kept feeding her steak...lol
Kasha I hope will make it next year..I don't think she will, but i have high hopes.

Frenchie, seems lime you've had such a busy day! I hope it all works out with you're leg! After I had Blake, people kept congratulating me the next summer. They thought I was pregnant again!!!!!!!!!! It was sooo depressing. My sis' s bf really motivated me. We rented next to them. I went to their apartment every morning and used his elliptical. I stopped.all the mtd. And lost 30# in 4 months!!! I was so proud! And felt so much better exercising. Now I feel myself slowly putting it back on :-( hopefully you will post your accomplishments, and motivate some of us lol
I know bbl4 is very active. She even does kick boxing! And there was someone else on here that changed their entire families diet!

Do you give it full strength?
To bad you have to toss it. Pedialyte isn't cheap but suppose you can use a generic store brand.

I use generic..or a coupon. It is much cheaper to make your own than to buy the packs you get at the store.
That is the recipe. Only make what you are going to use for the day or store the rest in the fridge. I make a gallon and store it.


Angie..I give it to chicks and everyone in really hot weather. They get added vitamins and nutrients they need to get a good start. Some chicks do not eat well and have a low thrive rate. The electrolytes give them a chance. They get a few extra days to learn to eat well. Some baby's for some reason just do not get how to eat with out constant reminding. I do not spend a lot of time showing chicks how to eat and drink. I make sure they can all drink. The eating I show the first few..I have been really lucky and have not lost a chick that I have bred. I have lost shipped chicks. I had chicks here when we went camping and came home to several dead. My chicken feeder person never changed or cleaned water(not sure that made any difference). They never added fresh food because the bowl was never empty. Anyone who feeds FF to new baby's knows what it looks like after 5 minutes with chicks crawling all over it..can you imagine what it looked like after three days? I figure the survivors are going to be some seriously healthy chicks. I was not a good instructor so the lost was my fault. I should have left detailed instructions. He just looked and seen full containers and left it. Most of it was bedding.

Yeah, I know how to do it, I just don't want too !!! lol When you are young you do it more because you worry how you look! (at least that's why I did anyway) when you reach my age you do it because you want to stay vertical !! lol

The person I talked to highly suggested I try the gluten free diet since my niece has celiacs and I told her that my mother and I never felt good. I read an article at the office that said there are 3 million people with celiacs disease and only 40,000 have been diagnosed.

She said I may not have celiacs but you can still have gluten sensitivities. Worth a try. I've been thinking about trying it anyway. There is just way to much crap in our food. Need to get back to the good old basics. Meat, veggies, fruit, milk. Promised I'd eat 4 servings of fruit and/or veggies a day....

Wish I lived closer to TO.... I'd be dropping in ALOT !!! LOL

Most ACV you purchase in the store is cooked apples..well cooked to death apple cider. They have to pasteurize it..just like milk..strip out all the good stuff. Braggs makes a brand that is natural with out all the cooking and it contains the mother. The natural processing of the fermenting of apples creates the mother. It is the cloudy part of ACV. The acetic acid-forming bacteria in the fermentation takes out the alcohol.
To save money you can purchase a cheaper gallon of unpasteurized acv and add a dash of Braggs. You can keep a spare gallon and keep it going.
