Sounds like those who made it to the "Hay Party" had a good time! Maybe next time I can come and bring young son. Like he likes to brag... "I'm strong like BULL!" LOL He can work for me and if she can come, CC and I can supervise

Good morning...wish it would stop raining. Roads around us are flooding out...rberry...you ok...your rd is in a valley....
My poor chickens run is getting swampy....need to get a board to go over the muddy mess.
Gotta run and make breakfast for my kids...interview tomorrow so we will see how that goes.,enjoying my time with these kiddos though!

good cloudy, but not rainy , morning,
got my cuppa and the birds are all turned loose..watched the BO's come out of the coop.. they sure are growing nicely and I noticed a couple extra large ones.. can we say "roosters" boys and girls ?

I also notice an increase of chipmunks and also saw a baby red squirrel at the feeder ..

have 5 new turkey poults.. like there are "old" turkey poult ? a couple Royal Palms and then some that look like RP x Bourbon Red.. Oh well, they all taste the same..

going to set up a scaffold and work on getting the purlins installed on the GH.. the scaffold will be a plank laid across the ceiling joists.. just something to stand on,, and decrease the trips up and down the ladder..

D@M#!!! I hate tis weather! When te storms come thyrough I get a bad case of restless leg. I am soooooooooooo tired! Some one please rip my legs off so I can sleep!

Thanks for answering my questions Delisha. I know about being able to use starter/grower for everybody and would like to but I have 60+ lbs left of Nutrena nature wise layer pellets yet and would like to use that first. BTW no roos here. Would love one but hubby says no. Says it will hurt our puppy but really I think he's afraid I'll get the bright idea to start breeding my own birds. Silly hubby. (Guess he does know me!)

My chicks are 12 weeks now. Any harm if they get into the big girls FF?
