Spent most of the evening watering the garden by hand. ET said he's watered the garden.... only to find out he never watered the pumpkins... no wonder only half of them sprouted !!!
Found a pool that I would like, it's 18'x9'x52".... $599 at
Walmart and $749 at Kmart but the Kmart one comes with a bigger filter and a deluxe pool kit (leaf net, and other stuff that would cost extra at
Walmart) Quite a bit more then the $277 one I had my eye on at the store.
Bought Cali girl a stuffed Teddy bear at Good Will yesterday. She found it and was licking it but didn't chew it. She was outside tonight frolicking around with one my of older cats then came in and was playing with Halo the rescue kitten who is about her age !! She has settled in quite nicely. She stays in the yard and hangs with the old girls Butts and Dolly. She still chases the guineas but she can't catch them and I think she is just wanting to play.
Looks like I'm going back for another sleep study Tuesday, this time in Wausau... I went to see the pulm doc again Weds and he looked over my CT scan I had done in Milw. Said my lungs are ok and said my diffusion rate isn't low enough to make me tired.
I have to say I liked him when I saw him two weeks ago for the first time but this time he just walked in the room, told me my lungs were ok... so I said what about the Upper airway resistance syndrome that I initially went there for... only then did he leave the room and get my chart..... plus I saw the cardiologist last week and he still hadn't dictated anything so the Pulm doc who referred me to him had no notes to read etc. He did ask me if my cardologist told me my heart had some kind of irregular beat or some bs and I said no he didn't.
He said he would repeat the CT scan in two months and possibly the breathing function test. Then he was going to reword the order for the CPAP for the insurance but then decided because I'm on medicare that he would reorder the test... so I go next Tuesday night. I will be there during the day to see the endocrinologist and the diatician and for bloodwork so looks like I'll be spending the day and night in Wausau !! Hello Olive Garden here I come !!!
When I saw the cardiologist last week he said my echocardiogram EF was around 50%. I told him my blood pressure has been as low as 69/48 since my internist had put me on lisinipril/hctz per my request. So he put me on lasix instead.
Also took me off of the cholestrol medication because I told him my muscles were sore just walking to my car etc. That did make some improvement in the muscle pain (to bad not my arthritis) That seems to be worse being on the lasix ????? Geez
That's what I get for going to all these doctors at or about the same time. Who knows what's going on or what's working.
Then get this, an hour after I get out of the Pulm office I get a call from my Internists office. His nurse and I have been playing phone tag. She said he wants me to see an ear nose and throat doctor because my sleep study report suggested he look into something with my nose and the breathing part of the sleep study...... NO WHY IN THE h3LL didn't they tell me that when they told me to see someone for the Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome..... ???????
I told her that I'm going for another sleep study and if that shows up again I'll see an Ear Nose and Throat doctor up here. I drove 75 miles one way basically for nothing on Wednesday, I'm not driving 250 miles to and ENT doctor for nothing as well.
Basically what the cardiologist said was my heart was damaged by not only the chemo but by the radiation. It is stiff on one side thus making it weaker which is why it's best to keep my pb lower. He said it's no doubt a combination of my heart, lungs and all the drugs and radiation that are causing my troubles..... No $hit Sherlock !!! LOL So he requested my cardiologists from Milwaukees records to view my heart cath from a few years ago. Wish I woulnd't have asked my internist for the diruetic RX because I had congestion real bad and after I started that I lost 15 lbs and my chest congestion cleared up. So they both basically saw me after the diruetic had already started helping.
Ok, time for bed. The Humane Society is having a rummage sale tomorrow so I gotta get there before 2pm. I always get there when they are closing.... not this time..... yah right. My day usually just starts at 2pm !!
Ok, now that I wrote a few more chapters of my book, I'm gonna go get some yogurt for a bedtime snack !!
