Lol Big. I was the one in a million dr's said with colon cancer that gained an extreme amount of weight after the surgery instead of losing. I gained nearly 50lbs so losing what I have makes me "happy in pants" I know it was more that 20 I've lost as after the scale hit 200 I refused to get weighed anymore. I normally wouldn't be bustin' my butt in this heat but I really needed to get this coop built for the chickies.

Read way too many posts to remember what I was going to say! So , glad everyone is surviving this weather and hoping there have not been too many heat
losses in the flocks. Oh, and beautiful birds Delisha!!!

Had a nice dinner of BLT s made with uncured cherrywood bacon, slabs of sourdough and FINALLY the first tomatoes of the year from our garden!!! I have never harvested my first tomato so late since I first started growing up here after we moved onto the land permanently in 1996! My earliest for a large tomato was the first week of June. That was the first year after getting the new greenhouse. Afterwards it's never been later than the second week of June.

So hot and sticky tonight the girls didn't want to go in, can't blame them. Supposed to be bad tomorrow then cooler and lower humidity. Sure hope they're right.

Dang it, all my other food porn pics are on the big computer!

Mamma Robin hatched out her babies today.... all four! Ugly naked little things, but still cute! In order for me to get any pictures of them I would have to glue a mirror above the nest. Not enough space to get a camera in there and I would need a big ladder to get over the top of them.

Goofy kids did not want to go swimming today...... WTH! It was a steam sauna out there today! We don't even have the air conditioners in!!! I was flabbergasted...... we ARE going tomorrow dang it!

Grilled a few round steaks for dinner tonight, and for tomorrow night too. No point in heating the outdoors any more than it already is!

I have been a little lax in my training for the Tri, been too worried about the DH and felling a little bit off myself. He is doing much better, but still takes a nap every day and still has a mild headache. If I have said this before I apologize for repeating myself, so many people keep asking me how he is doing I can't keep track of what I have posted and where!

Stinkin cats are glued to me....... why do they think I need a fur coat on a night like this??????

I dont care how much weight I want to lose, I'm not gonna build nothing like Stacy Clark over there! No way could I ever in a million years build anything like she does AND lose weight!!!

Perhaps if you would show up in the correct shoes, you would be able to build anything.

COngrats on getting projects done. I'm busy all day yet ya'll make me feel lazy. jeez!
Those cupcakes look SOOOOO good.... that's something I've been thinking of the last few days and it's so hard to get 'dessert' thoughts out of my head and fruit just doesn't satisfy my sweet tooth like a good dose of frosting does!
We had BLT's tonight too, well, the boys had 'bacon sandwiches' since they don't like lettuce OR tomatoes! and grilled sweetcorn.
will be happy with lower humidity, I too get 'heat rage'. especially with these relentless vampire skeeters and biting flies.

I just read that mosquitos can't stand garlic and will stay away from it. I have a couple heads that I plan on mincing tomorrow and testing it around here to see if it helps. Heck, it can't hurt right?

gonna grab a handful of choc.chips to see if that helps the cravings.......

John John John... there was nothing wrong showing up to unload hay in my pink, coral, and gold croc skin pattern sandals with gold starfish on them. I wasn't going to unload with my feet!

But alas... I was put on kid duty... I was so very sad I missed out on the work....
