Just how did this turn into pick on Jim day ?

I have between 45 and 50 new guineas in the brooder..

and now Marlene's and Jim P"s guineas are hatching, too..

Annie brought the pea chick back in.. it was not coping to well out there..

Sandi, we have loads of those pads left over from Mom's stash.. cost , zero $ for us..

I charged up the rider.. It started right up then,, so as long as it was running, I cut the hay, er, ah, lawn.. weeds is more like it.. over 3 feet tall in most places.. I quit when I either shredded a v-belt or it maybe just jumped off the pulleys.. either way, I was ready to quit..

Annie ran around and picked up fallen branches and sticks.. and still had time to pig out on raspberries.. earlier today she picked enough for another pie.. I don''t even have the first one eaten, yet..I did not get a nap in again today.. might do that before going to bed..

I made fried T-bone steak, sauteed mushrooms in grape oil and butter.. sauteed onions and baked potatoes for supper tonight.. Annie steamed a batch of whole peas in the pod.. raspberry pie for dessert.. yum yum !!

All I can say is .... I wish I had a WIFE like Annie !!!! Yes it's Pick on Jim Day cause he has it made !!!!

I just spent forever looking up diagrams for ignition switches for our boat. Guess I'll be going to the lake tomorrow with him. He got home and when I looked outside he had the pool unloaded from the truck.... I asked if he had it all out and he said yes.... now remembering we have loose pigs and goats that won't stay in. Made him promise to put it all back in the truck. He was taking inventory of parts for it..... All I asked for was the instruction book and DVD so I can help/supervise when he/we put it up ...... really looking forward to that NOT !!!
I'll bet it I go out there in the morning I will find parts out there.... I mean for crying out loud.... lets get one project finished before we destroy... I mean start another hey ???

I'm sitting here looking at the two ignition switches.... almost identical..... If he would have written down what color came from what I don't think this would be an issue......came up with an extra wire !!!!!!! I give up.... at least for today..

Oh hey Angibubs, IF we ever get our pool up and running, what else will I need to do for chemicals other then the pool salt. I bought 5 bags at Menards yesterday. Some of it was hard as rock (two bags) but thought better get it while I was in town.
Will I still need to check the PH ?? The instructions just say to contact your pool people.... Guess that's YOU !!!

Do I need a PH kit and chemicals to adjust that? Menards has their 15% off bag sale tomorrow yet.
Looks fairly easy to put the pool up. We bought patio blocks to put under the legs. ET had me pick up a 2x4x10ft board to get the blocks level.
Did you get a heater for yours? I see Menards has two different solar heaters on sale. The $149 is on sale for $89 but don't think I want to spend that right now. Bought the solar cover for it.
Still pretty nervous about who/what animals might want to jump in to it no matter where we put it.

Everyone please be careful if you have a pool of any size or depth... I watched the safety dvd and it said that 300 children drown each year in backyard pools. I knew a woman years ago who's grandchild drown in her inground pool. That has to be terrible !!! Please be safe !!!!

Ok, going to fetch that nice cold glass of healthy Milk. That Cholesterol blocking Pizza made me thirsty !!
