Yes I had some on my roses also and just pulled them off and havent seen anymore... maybe it wont be a good year for them'One of my older gardening friends told me those traps actually attract more beetles from outside the area so you may end up with more beetles on your plants before they make it to the trap. Even if you move it away from the target plants, they fly over it from one direction in order to get to the trap. (Same goes for the electric bug zappers.) I had some on a little mini rose and I just kept knocking them off and squishing them. They seem to be gone now and the plant is doing fine.
