Oh and Frenchie... I'm sure my hubby would love to be HEAD of household several times a week. I think i could develop tmj if he had his wish granted...

Shadow thinks the kids are litter mates, so he bites at them like he would another puppy while playing. But he is 55 lbs now, and 9 months old and can certainly get the idea that he can't play that way. He is finally 2 nuts lighter though. Had his snipped last friday. Had post op complications. He was given too small a cone for one thing. He had already licked his incision raw by the time he came home Saturday. He had already chewed the cone off at the vet too. Then he gave himself diahrrea for 3 days because he was so stressed about the cone, and the pain med. Tues I had 1 hr inbetween therapy sessions and had to run the dog over to Lodi to get his incision looked at, get him a bigger cone, and get him fitted for a MediPet shirt. My poodle has a onesie on! He can have the cone off while in the house. He can't lick because he has a shirt with a snaps and velcro crotch to it. Everytime he has to go out, I have to undo his fasteners, fold up the shirt, refasten it, put the cone on, so he can go outside and pee but not lick. It's super fun. Why my dog can't have a simple nut cut with no issues I don't know...

Nutty dog!

Yep... I have one too. I sent it along for him after surgery. His long muzzle made it so he could get around it. That's how come his incision was already raw when I picked him up. So the biggest cone of shame is the only one he can't seem to get around. He sure is determined to lick down there... (I'm not saying I think this is probably normal behavior for the male species if one can reach it, I'm just leaving it hanging out there for y'all )

Hi All! All by myself I guess.

Big Fam... If you got time for a nap, you got time to get more done!

Sclark.... sorry you didn't get rabbits sold. Hard to say sometimes what people think when they shop.

Jim... I agree, They should have a spell check that recognizes poultry terms. Some "personal" spell checkers will let you add words. But with so many "not quite right" users on a forum, if anyone could could add words, who knows what you would get. I bet when you feeding those birds bread your blood pressure went down 20 points! Mine does when I can do that stuff with them.

vicki.... Yea, I always thought too, if people are so smart, why don't we speak "animal". There animals that can't make human noises (used in speech), but can understand what humans want from them and "speak" with use of a communication board.

cs.... glad everyone stayed calm and was OK.

FT... what kind of special day did you have?

momg....
Quote: Not eating any brown, crunchy cheese at your house! LOL

BTW.... Rberry....Are you going to try to dehydrate the mealworms or freeze dry them? Big difference.

Well, made my first cash on the quills! I'll be sending postage + out to those who sent me feathers soon. Still need lots of goose and turkey quills. Plain white turkey I have. LOL but the white ones with black are welcome!

Now it's just little old me holding down the fort hey ?

Cindlady..... My special day was my birthday !!!! It's Tomski's Birthday too.... That's why I was asking him where he was ??? I mentioned it earlier in the week.... I was waiting (and hinting) for Jim to pick up on it !!!! See Jim, other peoples posts don'g get read either.... It's not just yours !!! (and Heathers)

When I finally got dressed we went to Hills Stills in the township of Pearson. I couldn't decide what to have so I asked the waitress what the sizes were of the Poor Mans Lobster and the Broiled Cod... I told her I was looking for a big hunk of meat (no comment Heather) Like the kind you get in the grocery store in the two packs.
She said the broiled Cod so I ordered that ! It was only $14.95.... ET ordered Ribeye $17.95 plus the added Mushrooms for another $3.50 !!!! I guess he didn't pay attention when I told him we need to spend wisely.... guess he thought it was his birthday !!!!
Anyway, the fish came and there were two tiny pieces. WTH ? So ET gave me a little bit of his Ribeye.
I have to say the food was good but I had to wait forever for my Decaf coffee and soup and it really wasn't that busy there tonight !! I did get a cute little piece of Birthday Cake with a candle and they staff sang Happy Birthday to me... that was nice.....seeing as ET didn't even get me a card !

After dinner we went to Mole Lake Casino...... Lost $5, then another $5 then $3 then $3...... So I asked ET if he had any more money. He said I have a $20,,,, I said me too !!! Give me your $20...... so I played that and when I turned the $20 into $40 I cashed out. My original plan was to get reimbursed or Dinner !!! That didn't happen but I did just about break even at the Casino. On the way out I picked up their brochure. Turns out I could have gotten a free T shirt for my birthday. Guess I can go tomorrow yet and pick it up !!

CS and Jim, that is some scary stuff with your electrical fires. My sisters house down in Mount Pleasant WI got struck by lightening a few years ago. It fried a lot of the wires and there were actually marks on the wall. A lot of other weird stuff happened to but can't remember all of it now.
CRS has just hit home !!!
Ok, 3:38am.... time for bed !!

French if people aren't going to see it , read it, or catch it flat out.... Don't bother hinting at it!!! Happy Birthday! I hope you're around for another 75 years.... :-D

Cindy that attempt at a nap is not a luxury item where I could get more done. I have a bad habit of falling asleep while driving home from work. As in a-cop-would-pull-me-over-for-drunk-driving-for-my-swerving-all-over-the-road-but-really-i'm-just-sleep-driving. So that nap is a possible lifesaver along with a latte around 9pm. Even then sometimes it's rough getting home in one piece, but I'm doing the best the I can.

Is Terri the closest to me that has a week - 2 week old chick around? Remember Sauk City folks. I have only mentioned the lonely chick a million times... Waiting for people to pipe up and say "I've got some this age" (see Frenchie hinting gets you no where...). And Jim Wausau is not close...

Reminds me of the funny "Why do dogs lick their nutz?" answer "Cuz they can!"
