Hi all- if you didn't hear me screaming earlier I am surprised. I was sitting in the livingroom when a bat flew through! OMG!!!! I grabbed a pillow and tryed to swat it but it kept flying between rooms and hitting the windows. At one point it landed on the curtains. I grabbed the phone and between screams I called my fil to come over to get it. By the time he got here I had hit it with the pillow. It was lying on my daughters toy room floor so I quick grabbed a box and put it over him. My fil came over and grabbed it. It was squeaking and trying to get loose. It took me a good half hour ti start breathing normally. Poor kids were scared to death because they heard me screaming and crying. I am definetly calling the bat people tomorrow !

Talked with my poor Auntie. She said when my cousin called him he didn't answer this morning. He then drove over and he hadn't opened his shop. Went to his house and found him in bed. He passed away in his sleep, which we can be thankful for. He was 69.5 yrs old. The first of all of us cousins to go.........
He had numerous health problems. Mainly caused by being so obese and having diabetes. The coroner said it was most likely from the heat and his diabetes.

Last night he went over to his brothers house (his second home in Arbor Vitae) for dinner and their power had gone out. So he left to go home. They do not know if he stopped for something to eat or just went home. He had a fan blowing on him so I'm assuming he didn't have air conditioning. My poor Auntie, she said it goes in three's you know. We're probably next.....meaning her and my uncle, which I didn't say anything, what could I say.

This week has been pretty stressful. I went to the pulm doc on Wednesday in Wausau. He said yes I do have Pulmonary Hypertension which is caused by fluid buildup. He drew me picture on the paper on the whatever you call it, you know where you sit and wait for them to come in and your back is killing you because they make you wait so long ......the bench thing...
Anyway, because my heart is stiff or whatever from my radiation/chemo it is causing the PH. He then told me I have spots on both lungs which appear to be scar tissue. I said from what, he said radiation. I said I only had radiation for my Breast Cancer on one side, no radiation for my Lung Cancer so what else would cause it. He said it was like asking what causes a freckle ???? Numerous reasons.... I'm suppose to go back in a year for another CT scan.
He said if he would repeat the tests (sleep study or oximetry) we could both get in trouble. And treating it without it being bad enough could cause more harm then good.
I said I understand, I don't want to treat the symptoms, I want to know the cause..... like talking to a brick wall I tell ya.

So I guess the only treatment so far will be.... Lasix.... I am peeing up a storm and can hardly get to the bathroom in time.....
So I go back to see the cardiologist's NP on Wednesday. We'll see what she has to say.
What I'd like to know is if my heart has improved since I was first diagnosed with cardiomyopathy in 1999 then why do I have the Pulmonary Hypertension and need the Lasix. I had a heart Cath 3 years ago and it didn't show it but I don't think he did the right side of the heart. This doctor did both sides this time. I like this doctor, but of course I don't see him for the follow up. Booked out til Nov.

So on my way home from Wausau I called my sister to tell her my outcome. She said she had some not so good news....She had an MRI done and they found a mass on her ovary and fluid in her abdomen......Could be Ovarian Cancer..not good. I'll tell ya, that had me really scared..... She is the Matriarch since Auntie passed away and I'm not ready for that position.... She was able to get in for an ultra sound yesterday and they said it looks to be a demroid cyst (sp). This is a cyst the can have hair, teeth, all kinds of weird stuff. I guess it can be what was to be a twin that didn't develop and is left behind it can be anywhere in your body and it can grow. Hers is 9cm. So looks like she may end up with the hysterectomy, which by the way is the best thing I ever did !!
So that was better news, it still of course could be cancer but most likely not !!!! Keeping fingers crossed.

ET is being a Royal Pain again. He doesn't take to well to being stressed......plus he might be out of chew again.

Oh and then to top things off.............. MY DOGS HAVE FLEAS and they are on Front line PLUS........Either that kitten brought them or Dolly, my Aunts dog brought them....not my new dog. She was shaved pretty darn close and she is white, I would have seen them. I am so ticked off it isn't funny.
OK, that's enough sad news..... time to grab a snack and go to bed !!!!! Suppose it should be a low sodium one now too !!! Dang !!!

PS.. Thanks for listening... you all are the bestest !!!!

Amy, they do have baby fabric but they get the new designs in spring, at least that is what she told me. No Hancock Fabric up here. The fabric that I bought was made by Spring Creative. I've been looking online to see what I can find. I'm going to check out Walmart. A few years ago they had something similar to the one I made for Addie and they carry that brand. I'm sure I'll find something but sure hope I can find that brand, or should I say I hope they came out with another one similar. I'll maybe call and ask.

And my guess is .........

BOY..Monday, Labor Day

Sorry if I missed stuff.

Night All!

Think long & hard before calling the " bat people".....the stories I can tell of folks who had to endure financial & health issues after the "bat" people, as they are required to do, reported to the DNR that a colony of endangered bats have now taken up refuge in your home.

I've been up since 2:30 (went to bed at 11:30). The solar charger must not be working. The horses got out. I put them away and they got right back out again. They were out on Monday morning too. Guess I need to grab a ground rod at work today and get a charger plugged in. Dang it. I have 600 hay bales to stack today. These horses are going to be the death of me.

I'm appalled as well at the lack of flexibility Amy. Being a former gymnast, I have been able to retain much flexibility without having to work at it at all. I think it's so very sad when a young healthy person walks around all stiff and decrepit. Just such a shame... :-D
