Hi all--yes Saturday the 2nd will work. Got the wood chips out of the driveway so there is more space to park. DH moved them, I still have to spread them. I hope it is warm....what time are you planning on arriving? (I would like to at least be dressed! Maybe we can have a campfire. You all are lucky...DH also unloaded the free hay. I might have mentioned that.

I have heard of turkeys killing chickens. The farm where I work had to lock hers up cause they were ganging up on her layers. I have seen mine chase the chickens but they dont kill them. At least not yet!

The woman that was supposed to come over yesterday for me to meet her one year old and her never showed...didnt call either! Ticks me off because she contacted ME! How can people say they are going to do something and then not even call if plans have changed? I cannot understand it. I certainly could have found something else to do!

Not much happening around here. Kids' Garden is tonight and we are cleaning up the garden and planting some bulbs for spring interest. I am going to suggest a break then until the seed catalogs start coming in when we can start "spring dreaming" with them. I am looking for ideas to get donations to make our garden better this year...something in the line of a "mitten tree" like for Christmas. Anyone?

Sorry about the hawk attacks...one time when my rabbits got out (I was doing meat rabbits at that time) The hawks converged on my place and ate all the rabbits that were tan or wild colored. They left the black and the white ones...I could only guess that they didnt see them as food!

I will bring seed donations for the kids if i remember. I will go collect some seeds and take pictures of the seeds I collect. I have some heritage green peppers I can bring if I remember too.(No pictures)
