Ahh, BL4, he is a black and white Springer. My aunt and uncle had to search high and low to find their black and whites, most are liver/white. Good dogs, just too high energy for me.

Speaking of which, on my way to town yesterday, about a mile from the house, I saw a large raptor type bird up on a tree top. What threw me was it looked to be white with maybe some speckling, hard to tell from the distance. But it was large and white! Any idea what it might be? It was daylight and the head was too pointy for an owl.

Anyway. My laptop had crashed and we haven't been able to get the desktop to get online since we moved here! Well, the internet withdrawals were getting to me and I managed to figure it out in about 2 hours of being left alone with it! LOL I think I had too many "experts" trying before :/ I unloaded and reloaded everything and just started from scratch! Yea Me!

Neil is doing OK, not great but OK. Jon is still loving his job and doesn't call

Birds are OK, yes, I'm the one that got a hen through Wry neck. I did some research and must have found the same info. Deli did. It took about 2 months but she's doing great and lays fine.

Your silkies are drying..I am not bringing the black Orp..He decided he wants to be with the baby's and has been under heat. I have no idea why he decided on the heat lamp..but i would be afraid to take him off it now. He feeds the chicks so we will make arrangements at a later date. If he helps the chicks for another week or two while I gradually take them off heat he will be good to go. They all sleep under his wings..too cute. I might have to send him with one of his adopted baby's.

It is your call. If he helps out the chicks, I am totally wiling to wait. But I do have heat out for the last batch. I also put them back into a breeding pen because of the hawk issues. No more babies free range her :'( it is my favorite thing to see!
