is there an echo in here ? No posts since noon ? you all can't be out there shoveling snow ..

the only bird outside is Bullet the pullet.. I cannot get near her with the net.. even the geese went in tonight.. it is nasT out there..

It has been quiet on here as of late. No snow here just rain. It should be 50 here tomorrow then by night it'll be in the 20's.

It snowed over another inch here since I got home at 3PM.. cknskrt , knock off about 20 degrees from both of your temps and that is what we are in for..

IDK where everybody went ? I used my deodorant, honest..

Well Buddy--your birds are smarter than mine for sure! Although it is not bad temp. wise here it sure is miserable and damp! (and muddy, slippery etc) I will say that it has been nice not having to pull the hose into the pit at night! 38 for a low tonight but I think we will be getting the cold and snow after that! Maybe I will be able to pull up the mats tomorrow and get them placed in there winter spots? I sure hope so. I plan on spreading the straw over the garlic beds too. I better not hope for too much more though, it would be nice to actually finish my list for one day!

With that said I guess I will say goodnight...I start work at 8:30 tomorrow...another long day!

I would still try more pups if you can find some.. Pearl might surprise you and take them.. she sure sounds like the mothering kind..

Marlene has a trio of nice bantams,, I forgot the name,, nankin sound right ? I think so.. she wants $20.oo for the trio.. they are about a year old..

Hi Few People Who Have Been Here!

Well, Jon called and said he should be home Fri. or Sat.!

I forgot to ask how he was getting here, hope he doesn't need a ride.... he's in Texas! LOL He asked how the weather was(mid 60's by him).... I told him it was going to drop to the low twenties and teens by the weekend... said he better wear his Carhartts the last hundred miles or so.

My dog is proof about the raw/live versus cooked bone thing.

My 29 pound turkey was done in 4 hours somehow at 360*, unfortunatley. that means 3 hours early.
