And I have often wondered what MXM's deal was in ditching the chicken clan. Just figured she probably got tangled and unexpectedly hung herself in one of her knitting projects...

Off to bed... Made the mistake of telling my hubby his Christmas present could be whoopie every morning till Christmas. Wth was I thinking?! Once a month is fine with me!!

Cut them up or shed them in the food processor and freeze them - just like you would with zucchini.

Slippery morning here, DH left about 4 am to go and salt sidewalks, he said that the roads aren't to bad but still slow going. School was called for today so the kids start break 1 day early, probably not a bad thing.

DD is feeling better but still gets tired easy- the break will do her go and give her a chance to rest. She was able to get all her homework done but has 1 test to take when school starts next year.

we are getting 8-10 eggs a day, currently on day 8 of our New Years day hatch- haven't candled yet probably won't till closer to the end.

need to finish some Christmas gifts for DH's side of the family, it is always a challenge.

going to have the kids help make some more cookies- the jar ran out

and needs more!

off to do chores- the animals like to stay on schedule

Heather you crack me up..

I tried taking the garbage out and slipped, slide, and kerplunked all the way to the end. I need to take a few more trips..sheer ice is not my friend. I tossed a bag of sand and i hope for my next run it helps. I am enjoying the warmer days.

Casha had such a hard time..she kept trying and trying to walk and simply quit. She needed a partial bath when i brought her in..poor baby.

The chickens don't seem to mind at all..
