Since we're sharing projects: Heather this is the pattern I'm all about:

The knitting chat on the BYC forum reminds me of pix I've seen of chickens in knit chicken sweaters...

hmmm ,,,guess we know who is getting coal in their stocking

I was called by the Lab today..they got preliminary results..

No damage on any organs..no lice mites, worms or evidence of disease. A healthy looking chicken in good muscle tone and weight. No excessive fat was noted. (what ever that means)..so I guess the feed did no damage internally..big huge relief..I needed good news. I now have to wait for tissue tests..

Cute hat..

Congrats del, that is great news!!!
Jim, I wonder if your birds would try roosting on the bar in the back. Poo in the water. Yuck!
Duck poo in our water! They are hard in the winter!

All baby bunnies are spoken for. We had a few cancellations. But they were respoken for in a matter of hours. Is respoken a word? Lol
Mostly just a little ice here. Not too bad. We did the drive through the park to check out the lights tonight. Very comforting. As it is all the same stuff that was out there when I was a kid.

Hey heather, have a kid for me! I agree with del. Twofer tomorrow. That must actually be a word. As it showed up on auto fill teehee

Well, off to bed! Up at 3:30 again.

Nite all!

Hi all--working hard at a babysitting job tonight! The kids are really good--kept asking how many more minutes they had before bed. Then I read them one story and they all climbed into bed and went to sleep! I came upstairs to get my computer and the baby had woken up...gave him his nook and he went right back to sleep! I kinda wish they could have stayed up later. These are the 5 I was supposed to stay overnite with on Sunday. The parents decided that they didnt want to do the drive to the Packer game because of the upcoming storm. Probably a good idea!

The news is on and just said that Aaron is not playing again this week--the team mates were disappointed.

BigFam I cannot believe that you made that promise! Now you will be known as a woman that doesnt keep promises!
Well, I am heading downstairs to the "theater room" to watch a movie. I think the baby is out. God I love this house!

Stay safe...it was pretty slick out there on the way over here...I hope it is better on the way home!

no they won't,, there is only 1 inch of space behind that bar.. I screwed the frame to the wall..

I just came home from town.. played cards until 1:3o AM.. roads are not bad..

I checked in on the birds when I got home.. I collected 3 more eggs.. I think that makes it 15 for Friday.. and the waterer in the goose pen is still where it should be..

these red stars I just got, laid eggs for only last summer.. they were locked up in a rather dark coop so they quit laying quite awhile ago this fall.. so I figure they should go for awhile yet. they all seem to be healthy, except for one who seemed skinny to me.. maybe she is laying eggs yet.. I sold 4 dozen eggs yesterday.. the first ones for a couple of months..

Time for a glass of ho-made blackberry wine, then off to bed I go.....

Dragged the DH out yesterday to do Christmas shopping for the kids...... we were out in an ice storm the whole time! I think I picked up enough stuff for my own kids, now I need to pick up presents for my nieces and nephews and the in-laws........

I suppose I should get moving here and get the coffee going.....

Later!
