Cind, it might be something going around. I've had nausea for a week. Today was the first day I didn't. I hope you are feeling better real soon. Cute flock!
Mel, congrats and good luck with the interview!
Jinx might just have an upper resp. infection. They are soooooo common in kittens. An antibiotic will clear it right up. If her eyes get runny, that is a sure sign.
Kristi, so sorry about your roo. I am a firm believer in putting vits/electros in the chickens water all winter long. I can't get out to observe the birds like I do in the summer, so I try to help keep them healthy that way. It really made a difference with my hen. As for roos, I love my orps, but if you were looking at bantams, I just love my seabright, Floyd. He is such a sweetie. He will jump up on my shoulder while I do the chores. And he has a rose comb, as opposed to the orps single.
Ang, while you are waiting for the test results, I'd still try the electros. And maybe some yogurt mixed with your mushy feed. I am glad he is a bit better. Good job!
Nothing new here. Sweet dreams, all!
