Oh yeah, best coops for 6 Buckeye hens in southeastern Wisconsin? I know we get all kinds of crappy weather, so I figured we need some special coops to tough through it.

Unfortunately, it's a school day so I'm sloshing and slipping everywhere!Valerie, BigZ has Buckeyes.
Sloppy outside, good day to stay inside!
Nothing to report here. Spending the day with the DH.
When is chick season? When should I be picking up chicks? I don't want them too early because it's too snowy outside to fence and assemble a coop. I also don't want to miss out and have to wait until next year.
Sorry..I am not..Just thought I would ask you guys, are any of you WI people planing on going to the NPIP seminar on april 10th in stevens point I just signed up for it.
Cind-my sarcastic suggestion for health might be to , I don't know...maybe, get to bed earlier? I'd be dead energy wise and so on if I stayed up as late as you!
Hi Valerie,Hello everyone!
I am looking for 6 female Buckeye chicks this spring. I am located in Sugar Creek, WI (basically Elkhorn), southeastern Wisconsin. Is there anyone here that could help me out or direct me to someone who could?
Thanks,
Valerie
This is where dry hatching comes in handy..I picked up some eggs from the P.O this morning. Luckily they all look great, hope I can get a few to hatch.
Question to those who incubate eggs....
I have seen that you can stagger putting eggs into the bator, but what happens when one batch needs to be locked down? Won't the increase of humidity harm the other eggs?
Sorry, my local feed store only has chicks for a few weeks out of the year, so I though there was a chick season. >_<
