My cousin got engaged today! Her family flew down to Baton Rouge in secret to meet up with the happy couple as he proposed. They are now all in New Orleans celebrating. The question now is, where will the wedding be held? She is from Northern IL, he is from Minneapolis, and they both live and work in Baton Rouge. Time to start hitting the road and getting on my exercise plan ASAP......

In other news I heard from the vet today on Grover's odd WBC values. She had to speak with a specialist; he either has some rare form of Leukemia or he has some kind of inflammation going on. With our luck it will be the Leukemia........ she would like to see him again for another blood panel. I hope it is nothing.

Not making it to Beaver Dam. As much as I would like to go, it is rather torturous for me to watch all of your come home with birds and I cannot. Someday I will but right now it is not in the cards.

I am hoping my phone rings this next will with some kind of job prospect................

Went to the beaver dame swap this morning and got a white silkie hen and these little guys!!!

Hi all,,,,,,,,,,just got home from the B Dam swap,,,BRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! Had a nice time,,had a chance to say hi to Terri,,, she snuck out quick,,,What up with that??.. Also had a nice visit with Cooties and her family,,, While I was there ,,I realized that Cooties/Mel,, brings those sweet little ones along so she can get a better deal on critters,,, also, they come in handy when she wants to buy something that D H/Scott,,may not quite agree with.... She just gives the D D a little wink and its game on.. Oh daddy look at this,, hey daddy, how about that? Poor Scott sure has his hands full with those three kids taggin along,,[ the two little ones and Mel of coarse].. Hard to say no when they got ya out numbered like that... Then there s the old ,,, Hey honey look what I just picked up for you,,,, I ve been ,,,,ha humm,,,,I mean have nt you been looking for for these for a while,,,,and now,, I found,,,, I mean ,, we found them,, are nt they just what you wanted?? no?? I was sure we talked about them,,,, oh well I got em now,,,,,Its just like watching a magic show,,,, nothin up my sleeve,,,, Oh ,,,,,, lookie here,,,a box with several chicks in it,,,,,, better take em home!!!! It was great fun to share the morning with all of them...
