Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

good morning.
cind, even if it pivoted in the middle, the angle of each egg in the tray will be the same,,

I don't know why I bother posting, I don't think anybody reads them ..

I think I will try out my seed tape jig today.. I will take pictures if it works well..
I am sure there will be bugs to tweak ..

I let Bo loose all night, he is still skittish about coming to me. I will work on him.. Once he learns that I am not going to tie him up every time he comes to me, he will come around..

well, first Saturday of the new season.. going to take a shower ..

..........jiminwisc............

in our cooler incubator we use a simple PVC pipe frame to set the egg cartons on and turn either left or right and it works just fine.

Hi all! So nice out today :)

Yes, I think Brownie loves his new stall. Although, he now keep dumping the water. Talk about a waste of shavings! Scott is going to fix that too.

Clark, the blrw are turning out nicely. I do have comb divits and such. I will habe to some selecting. Snapped a pic yesterday of the big ones.

Jim, I agree on Bo. As soon as he knows he won't be tied. I can't believe how quickly he learned the perimeter for you! And I read every one of your posts :D

I think part of that could be from Justin hitting him also. The short time I was over their, wasn't an animal on the place he didn't hit at least once. I'm glad he's sticking around and not causing too much grief

That is basically the same thing I'm doing only I have 2 18packs sitting on a piece of metal square mesh from a closet organizer zip tied to the pvc in the center. Where the pvc comes out I added an elbow and another long piece for a handle. How many times a day are you turning?

Good to hear. I can't wait for mine, just a few more days. I candled lastnight and had a EE that quit. It was from the very first eggs I collected that had a bit of yoke on them. I cleaned it off but nearly all of those first eggs have gone bad, besides I think they got too cold. They were from 3-10 and if I remember correctly it was still pretty cold then as I had so many eggs splitting.

2 and a half hours with out a post.. I was just going to go upstairs to see what is on the tube..

JJ beans in the hay sounds good to me.. I am not planting green beans this year.. everyone here prefers the yellow ones..

I have a half dozen bales covering the septic tank that I can use.. they will be rotted in plenty of time for planting.. by this time next week they will be good and soaked..

not being able to use my left arm sure is holding up a lot of projects around here.. and it is giving me a good excuse to not work too hard, too..

still have to lock up the chicken coop.. Annie said she could not get the hook into the eye last night. It didn't occur to her to back the eye out a couple of threads ..

the VA finally got around to giving me an appt. next wednesday..
sure had to plead for that one..

Which VA? My father goes to the one in Madison and everyone is great!

Straw not hay remember. We do tri-color beans

good afternoon,, I just got back from town.. the crunchy ground of this morning, is now soft and muddy .

good news, Bo came to me for a rub down.. it should get easier for him each time..

I am going to put all of my barred rocks on craigslist .. I have only 3 maybe 4 of them..
I will list them as a trio.. I know at least one of the hens is laying an egg a day.. she lays it in the puppy pen on top of the bales..

JJ , I have hay and straw..

I go to the VA in Wausau,, they wanted me to travel to Tomah, but I told them it was difficult enough to even get to Wausau..
Now that we are down to just one car, and Annie takes it to work a few days a week..

I have not had too much bad experience in Wausau, just with the schedulers .. sometimes they just aren't with it ..

Time to work off some of Ginger's flab......

This is the snow pile behind the baseball diamond, they plowed off the fields hoping they would be ready for games this past week.
