yup, I even broke into a smile over the donkey statement.. now THAT's an annoying noise.. and you can hear them from a mile away..

my neighbor has about 20 of those hairy things.. all sizes.. luckily she lives a few miles away..

I had one offered to me free once.. If it weren't for the high cost of hay, I would have taken it..

If I was going to buy hay, I would have a buggy and a horse.. No car..

Hi All!

That d@mn broody hen is pissing me off! She seems to only want the eggs SHE picks out where SHE want's to brood! Guess I'll try locking her up with the eggs and see how bad she want's to brood.

Got the Green Goop tincture pressed out. Hopefully I'll have all done by Sun.

BBP.... I like the donkey idea too! LOL Question is.... can you all handle it?

Guess that's it..... Night All!

I don't know how you guys handle it. My neighbors will NEVER get to decide what animals I have. I will never pay an association fee so that they can do so. I will live in Northern Canada, South America, Russia, anywhere else before that happens. My property line is the Amery city limit line. I have 2 horses fenced to the city line, about 30 laying hens, 3 roosters, 4 turkeys, 12 call ducks, 40 meat birds, 2 pigs, 3 cats and a dog. As well as a parrotlet, terrarium with crested geckos and whites tree frogs and a fish tank in the house. I have two sets of apartments on my road. I had a tenant tell me once that my rooster was annoying. I said "I have 4 roosters". She said she thought about coing down and shooting it with a BB gun when it crowed. I told her I was thinking about getting a donkey and the braying would make the crowing sound minimal. She just gave me a blank stare. Lol Amery doesn't allow chickens but mine go there all of the time. :)

LOL!! Yeehaw!

That was supposed to sound like a donkey - not like I was riding a mechanical bull. Haha

OMG I love this. I would seriously have fun with that. I would get 2 donkeys, they would love my peacock. He makes a lot of noise haha!

My babies hatched yesterday

...(top to bottom) Pecan, Peanut, Butter. Peanut was the first and started the names. These are my first chicks with an incubator (for those who don't know me, I am a new chicken owner). That was an exciting experience and I can't wait to do it again!

You get me them, and If those were lb I locked last night, I send them your sons way. If not, I can give ypu the cash. I forgot to make my notes in the bottom of the trays this time. Lol But guaranteed if they look brahma, they are. As they have been penned the whole time.

gppd ,prmomg, whoops, good morning,, I hope that is not an indication of how my day is going to go..
I am waiting for a guy from LaCrosse to show up to buy my chicken plucker.. this morning is when he said he would be here..

I just called about the new puppy... I will pick her up tomorrow morning..

I have at least 6 more chicks to transfer to the chick tv.. If this keeps up I might have to set up a 3rd one..

going to make a swing around to all the guinea hiding places and see if I can get enough eggs to start another batch.. it takes 48 eggs..

Jes, do you have room for all these chicks you are going to hatch ?

.........jiminwisc.......

ETA: it turned out to be 14 more chicks..

I bought 50 pounds of starter yesterday, so it is not a rush to get Pang here for her chicks until they are all hatched*

the guy just showed up to get the plucker.. gotta go..
