Are you guys talking about the Blue Laced Reds in River Falls? My brother lives in River Falls. I think its a little over an hour from here. If the guy would meet me at the Roberts gas station off of 94, I could bring them to the bash. It would probably cost me about $5 in gas to go out of my way on the way there.

The bash is always the weekend after memorial weekend...hopefully it will continue for years to come...

good afternoon, well the plucker is gone..

and before I came back into the house another car pulled into my driveway,,

the guy asked me if I could incubate some turkey eggs for him,, I said sure , could.. how many ??

He is going to to Waupaca and picking up 100 eggs from somebody over there..

whoops !! I hope I have room for that many.. I think I will break out my goose trays and use them.
IDK if I can stack those trays, though..

and just now as I am writing this post, a neighbor friend just came down here with 42 guinea eggs to hatch.. he doesn't want the keets,, but he didn't want the eggs to go to waste.. HeII yah , I will hatch them..

all the chicks from the second chick tv are back into the hatcher.. somehow their water got wicked out and all the chicks were soaked..
they are gradually drying off, and the humidity in there is 60%... Not the recommended way to raise humidity...

Dave, I am getting a female Maremma puppy.. the same breed as my dogs.. actually one of her parents (female) came from the same place as our Dora came from.. In further fact, the guy I just mentioned who brought me the guinea eggs . is the guy where Dora came from..

I just got two trays of guinea eggs ready to go into the bator,,
one egg short of 8 dozen,, 95 eggs..
42 of Dan's and 53 or mine..

I called Pang, she is coming for her chicks right away,,

and she showed up just as I typed that last line..

she is gone home now with 59 babies.. there were about 6 more hatched after I called her to pick them up.. she will come back for them tomorrow,, they are still too wet and too young to send with the older chicks..

I am getting to witness a chick trying to fall through the half inch crack between the door and the hatching tray,, well, it was a struggle, but he managed to climb back into the tray ..
