the horse bedding is quite fine,, It comes in a brown paper bale/bag from F&F

Located in the pet food area right next to the wood shavings.. it said there were 7 cu ft of noncompressed chips as compared to 5 cu ft of wood shavings for the same price. 5.13 with tax..

it didn't seem like there were that many chips in the bag, but then it never does, does it ?

Cooties, did you say you had access to guinea eggs ? or was that somebody else ?

I talked to Zeke today on the phone.. he would like a couple of guineas.. I have a couple of white ones he can have if we ever get together ..

My plumbing is going to heII in this old house.. we had a tiny drip from one copper fitting,, and now Annie found another larger leak..

Delisha, luckily the birds I got from you are still in their own pen and not running around the yard (unless I'm home). So they are both still alive and doing great.
Angiebubs was over yesterday and noticed that my rooster has a broken spur. Maybe his attacker has it stuck in his face? Hope so. That rooster is quite the fighter. He lost alot of feathers all over the yard.

I was afraid to ask..glad they are OK..

Hi everyone from sunny Florida... I am at a conference for a few days and hubby is taking the kids to the parks. Wednesday afternoon on I get to join them. Learning good stuff...now to find a new job!

Delisha...what type of rabbits? I am working on dh to try a bunny or two again...

Glad in don't have to worry about watering the garden while gone, but flooding is not much better...more later

Afternoon All....hope you enjoy the wild grape jelly bl4....not many folks get lucky enough to enjoy how good it is.....the salad here was great....we went back to the garden for a second harvest today...the ho-made French dressing was goodie.....and so was the burger on the grill....and I had to make a quick road trip for some ipa red at pigeon river brewing.

Congrats on the hatches .... hope they grow fast and healthy for you.

Sorry about your sil Jim....may he rest in peace.

More garden work tomorrow along with some wood cutting and going to the strawberry and pea patch.....oh ya bl4 they are $1.30 per lb if you pick...not sure what the peas are though?

I forgot to say how happy I'm about the new bobcat season for this fall. The DNR finally is willing to believe that we have more bobcats than the habitat can handle....

Evening

, we finished 1 of the 3 places completely today...this one has people moving in this weekend. Hoping to get the other 2 done before the end of the month....it might be close.

DD will be home tomorrow mid-day from 4-H Youth Conference...have to pick her up at the UW Madison campus or hoping to get her a ride home because my dad has home therapy coming tomorrow at the same time and I need to be here....DS(12) doesn't think he can handle this one by himself....he has done such an excellent job staying at the house to help his Grandma with Grandpa, when I need to go to work. Grandpa listens to him better too!

Jim- our sympathy on the loss of your SIL- prayers and

to your family. It's never easy.

DS(12) made an apple pie today with just a little help from Grandma, we are about to try it right now.

Annie got called in to work..

Dora is in heat, Annie said Dora is bred ..

cooties, I think I am going to like the horse bedding.. at least for the bottom layer of bedding..
shavings and this bedding are so much easier to scoop out when the time comes..

I have a few babies to transfer to the chick tv..

didn't have lunch or supper.. think I will heat up a pizza..

I will be hanging around here for awhile ..

my squash and cukes are coming up.. now just the potatoes have to show some sign..
