Asking for a friend who is looking for a few adult Mallards, anyone have or know someone who has some in Appleton/Green Bay/Manitowoc area? Thanks. Carry on!

Robin,

The Cuckoos are more than likely...MALES........ but not always. Silkies do not follow the same rules as other chickens pertaining to color. Solids are more than likely females.

Thankfully, the missing boater was found last night. Now his family can have closure.

The cheese plant that I worked at with him, let him go after he had surgery. Apparently he took too long to heal and return to work so they replaced him. They are building a reputation for doing that to people, I know of three now...... somehow I find it had to believe that it is legal, but happy I am not working there any longer. They probably notified him over the phone too.

Going to spend time with the quackers today. :D

Really? Oh, I hope that is the case.

Thank you, Vicki!

Staci, I was wondering what you meant by mitten kittens until I saw the pic. I am not sure if polydactyl cats are popular or not. I remember years ago noone really wanted them, but times are changing. As Jim said, you could try to sell them for what you are asking, but BBP has a good point. The shelters are overflowing with unwanted cats & kittens right now. Good luck, and sorry about your troubles.

Just as a future reference...would anyone know where I could get a few Lavender Orpingtons beyond ordering online from a hatchery? If that was the only way I'd do it don't get me wrong, but I was just thinking I love my Buff's so much and I'd like to add to my collection so to speak :)

Just to clarify when I asked about pricing I was only referring to the chicken coop. Im not worried about my price on the kittens as in past I've sold them for 3 times what I'm asking now and never had a problem getting homes asap. This will be my last poly litter and it wasn't planned to begin with, daughters ragdoll got out of the house while I was babysitting her.

Bay I am hatching out some lavender orps right now and have another few set to hatch on the 26th11th besides one if the hens has gone broody and is sitting on a small clutch.

I'll have the ask the other half if I can have a few extras hehe. I may have to be patient until next year because we did just hatch a couple chicks. I figure if I just slowly add to the flock they won't really be noticed
