I came across this link (sorry if it didn't copy correctly, I'm on my phone) and did lots of research on wazine 17 (piperazine) and found out that its actually used on household pets AND humans ~ at astronger dose. The three people i spoke to said if i was worried about it, wait the 14 day period but they wouldn't bother with it being such a small dose.
That being said, i won't be waiting very long to eat eggs again.
I'm curious about others.....
My youngest turned 4 Thursday ! My mom is visiting from Arkansas and my grandma is here from Prairie Du Chein. Not sure how long they'll be here, been busy tho.
Have a good evening ~

Hi can l ask you a question..is it safe to give chickens dried meal worms and live crickets??? Thank-you.

Bernie from Ireland.

Nice Afternoon To Everyone....busy here and haven't even turned the puter on for days....caught up with the reading. Nice to read all is good.

The garden is producing green and purple sweet peppers, along with really nice maters. I love the harvest season after all the work.

5% sevin dust is the best for dusting....if they are goin to ban it...then I'm buying large amounts for future use.. it's the best and the easiest to use.

Nothing new here.... except my son in law is on his way home from fighting the fire in Washington....he will be sleeping well when he gets home for sure.

Peace...bigz

good afternoon,

3 Delaware and 1 Buff Orp are on their way to freezer camp.. the plucking was terrible, I think maybe the water was too hot ? anyhow, the plucker didn't work very well with them,, Now I am sorry I sold my Whiz Bang plucker..

I was mildly considering building another one, but now I am really really thinking I should..

another thing, butchering chickens in not a 78*F day, job..
the cool fall days are much more comfortable ..

I won the drawing at the restaurant today,, $285.oo.. this is the 3rd time I was drawn.. Once I was drawn, but I was not signed in ..

I switched the nursery chicks to the broiler ration today.. they dove right in.. loving it ..
I like the testure,, it is whole grains, ground to about the consistency just a bit larger than granuals.. Perfect for the chicks to pick up..

the baby chicks in the brooder are almost big enough to go into the nursery..
I have to make like a Dutch door so the bigger birds can fly over and in and out, but the little squirts can't ..

........jiminwisc.........

I was going to ask you something Mel, but I forgot what it was LOL
