Hi All!

Lutz.... any hatch yet?

Fuxzi.... So far I would say girl... EE are tough to sex.

No 'yote! Grrr Trapper said the neighbors a few doors down had taken a shot at it and may have chased it off. I would rather it have been trapped and done in. This way it may come back when it gets hungry again.

Nothing else new..... night all!

The neighbor's dog was back yesterday. Got a hold of my black bantam faverolles. Luckily, I was out in the woods. My golden chased him off. I'm getting lessons on loading the 9mm today and doing some target practice. The neighbors have an official warning. Next time he steps foot on my property, he will be dead. Or at least seriously injured. I've never hated a dog so much.

do you have a rifle ? much more accurate ..

Fuxi, look for sadde feathers. That is how I tell on breeds that are not single comb.
Cind, wish you could get that coyote.
Bbp, it is such a hard situation.
It would be great if everyone had an LGD. I saw a Pyrenees (sp) on cl. Was used as a farm dog and they claimed she doesn't wander. When I was looking for the Sussex chicks. It popped up because it talks in the ad about how she was good with the chicks.
The burn pile is still smoldering. But there is frost on the leaves on it.

I was going to get rid of my burn pile a few years ago.. but it seems to keep popping up..
right now it is huge.. and I still have some random branches and tree trunks to add to it..
I wouldn't dare light it before the ground is snow covered.. and there is a nice oak tree within 25 feet from it.. so I have to wait until the temp is well below freezing so the tree doesn't get heated up.

makes you wonder why they are getting rid of that pyrenese, doesn't it ??

the people I got Frankie from had a female Pyrenese .. they live near Gleason ..
.....jiminwisc.........

Our pile is in a pretty safe spot. And with all the poo mixedn in it rarely has flames. Nust smolders away lol
the ad said she had complications with her litter of pups. And they have since had her spayed. Maybe they want one they can breed.

Fuxzi...in my experience EE with red wing patches tend to be males...wait and see.
Laid up and going crazy with my sprained ankle. Kids are on chicken duty for another week.
Hubby took kids out trick or treating and they hit a haul. We donated half of it.

Otherwise figuring what to do on the couch.
