Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

good morning,
been up since 4AM
looks like a nice day starting,, +10F at 6AM and climbing,,
bowling this afternoon,, took a pain pill so I should be good to go .
got the little girl puppy back.. the lady thought it was too rough around the invalid boy.. although she never did anything to him,, just a jittery mother, is all..
the pup is a puppy, what did she expect ? a stuffed animal ??

Stacy, I am so glad to hear your tests show cancer free also. it is always such a relief when they come back good.
The chicks are all growing and I have taken a two week break from setting eggs so far. I have a big order going in the middle of March for April shipping.
I am tired of the snow and hear we have more coming.
Getting old I over rated. I am ready for some warm weather.
I skipped so many posts so happy birthday, happy anniversary, and happy ? to all I missed. I hope to catch up eventually..

Good morning--the sun is out--YEAH! I heard that the snow should amount to 1" here. That is doable...at least all the poop in the yard will be hidden again (for a little while!)
Gotta take some pics of a strange swelling on one of the puppies. The leader of the rescue wants to see what I am talking about.
I hope you get the electric sorted out Brent. Out bill has been right around $400 a month here...got to figure that out too. Too many freezers prob!
GLad to see you are still around Delish! I have an order for eggs partially incubated agian this year. They are for the first grade classes at out local elementary school. The kids get so excited!

Jim - sorry to hear that she gave the pup back. Honestly, what do people think when they get a pup. Sad for the little boy. Hopefully the other person still wants her.
The English Setter we have now was a pound pup at one time. According to the tech vet, an older lady had adopted him from the shelter and a couple days later brought him in to the vet asking what was wrong with him because he was way too hyper. She adopted him because he was so pretty and she expected him to sleep in the crate all night, go outside and go potty first thing in the morning for 15 minutes, spend all day in the crate while she was at work, potty outside for 30 minutes and then lay at her feet all evening. She kept him for almost 2 weeks at least. He had been adopted 2 or 3 times before the guy we got him from adopted him - every return was because he was too hyper. I blame the County Shelter for not informing people the nature of the dog they were adopting, they knew he was a purebred setter and could have gotten a good home for him by contacting the setter rescue.
This german shepherd pup has a lot of energy, but nothing like our setters had. Except for the nipping when overly excited, he is such a good boy. Our setter gets excited and that gets the pup going and the little chompers come out.

Mine cross the road - well, 4 of them anyway - to mooch off my neighbor's bird feeders. So every now and then I bring over a dozen eggs as a peace offering.
Bird man, those are some sweet units you have there!

CS, there is no warm up! I swear that groundhog is purposely messing with my running plans!!!!!
It was dog bath day today, now I have nice soft dogs running the house.
