Nothing new here. The snow keeps leavin here, little by little, and that's a good thing.

Jennies Birthday today. I'd love to be 31 again...gonna take her out to eat tonight. She wants to go to Pigeon River Brewing Company for their grilled chicken sandwich with house fries. I'll enjoy the fresh brewed brewski's....

and the conversation and prolly a burger basket. We enjoy those places over the stuffy formal Supper Clubs.

FREE to a good home! Two Cochin Bantam hens - Yakkie and Goldie.

I was given these two cutie pies last summer when their dad moved into a place where he could not keep them. My big girls, however, give them a hard time and manage to keep them away from food so I'm feeling sorry for them. I think they need to be with fluffy butts of their own size. Yakkie (the talker) is the black one and Goldie is (of course) the gold one.

It's hard to see the feathers on their legs while they're walking through the leaves and grass. I took some with the big ones so you could judge the size.

Would anyone like to adopt these little gals so they can eat, roost and live in relative peace? They are located near Waupaca but I can bring them to the swap in Fondy on Saturday.

We borrowed some mink traps and scent from a friend so hopefully we will soon be mink-less. The girls aren't too wild about being relocated to the garage. And DH & I are still sick so that doesn't help any.

I have been thinking about Zeke lately too. He sure was a bright spot on a cloudy day. I miss his laugh.
I see the critter has been caught. I can bring your birds any time..just let me know. I will bring two GL young pullets, the mauve and the blue pullet. Do you need a Gold Laced male?

happy birthday as well....i was on here on my bday in december i guess im just addicted to byc.....lol...just got a bunch of eggs ready and the quail eggs came in today...just waiting on another batch of chicken eggs to show up....they are supposed to be fly tieing chickens
peafowl moved to their new pen....also getting npip certified within the month...so eggggsited about that...got a truck load of sand dropped off today...moving five gallon buckets to the back...no other way...oh boy..im tired for doing that....also got rid of a pair of my red goldens...and i will be replacing the birds with a pair of cinnamon golden trio...and then the cinnamon male extra that i will be getting is going into this peafowl pen

I am here,, I refuse to go on FB..

I am doing research on U tube about making raised panel doors..
I want to re-do my kitchen and then build a wall of shelves 8 feet tall by 8 feet wide along the stairway,, (I will take the open railing out) it will have 18 doors in it..
then at the head of the stairway, I want to build an entertainment center extending over the stairway a little way,, that will add some extra room in the living room..

I am reading the posts as they come in,,

Before you go shopping for the router bits to make those door panels, send me an email with what you need. I have a barn full of stuff like that from my Father who passed away last Aug.

He was a cabinet maker by trade, and collected many related items over the years. I would rather see the router bits go to someone that will have a use of them, than dicker with some A-hole at a rummage sale.

besides the stores charge an arm for the panel cutting bit and a leg each for the 2 for cutting the styles that hold the panels.

Hi All!

Well, We no longer have our boiler/ furnace for back up heat. Between the time I went to bed and when DH got up the house filled with smoke! Not sure what is wrong with it but it's shut down and we're back to only using the wood stove. Got to get more wood split! We, knew that boiler was going to go sometime, it's older than the house is! 1939 was the date we found on it. Guess it lived it's life LOL.

That's it.... Night All!

That's an old boiler! I hope this weather holds for you, and you don't need to burn much wood.
