Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

the bash is a Friday, Saturday, Sunday camp out.
It is held at BigZio's church camp..
they have two bunk houses, parking for campers with electrical hook ups..
tenting areas..
A large lodge with lots of couches and overstuffed chairs, looong tables for dining,,
a completely stocked kitchen,, two bathrooms with showers ..

you can come on Friday and stay until Sunday, or just come for a day..
Saturday is the day with all of the activities,,
Pot luck meal.. with pot luck left overs.
Desserts galore ..

a ping pong table..

The cost is very minimal.. lots of the expenses are covered by the auction of donated items,
white elephant exchange ...

I probably missed something,, but it is 2 AM and I cannot get back to sleep..

If I made any mistakes , somebody will correct me,,

the campground is just north of Clintonville..

oh yes, there is a nice fire pit..

Hi All!

Yes, I'll figure out some way to breath at the bash. Even if DH naps a lot, he loves going! So do I. The fire pit may be tricky, but If I feel good enough maybe the oxygen can take a few hours off.

Nice write up about the bash Jim! I suppose we ought to start planning a little eh? Everyone check out the thread and see if we need to add anything to it. Since we typically have such nice items in the "white elephant" exchange; I propose that we change the name of it to "Pirate Gift Exchange." The rules will be the same but "a few" of the gifts will probably be a bit different...is that OK with everyone or should we just keep it the same way?

I see the Jefferson swap is tomorrow. Sponsored by the Bantam folks. Are there standard sized birds there as well? Who all is gonna be there?

The boss MIGHT let me out for a morning to play there.

Fish Fry Friday All....yep, excellent explanation of the bash Jim. Bring a raffle item and buy raffle tickets to pay for the weekend fees.

Nice and sunny...now if we had another 20 degrees of warmth, it would be perfect.

I had a basset hound once Terri...very nice dog and funny to watch when he was excited.

Good luck with the city fathers glarner...they can be fickle for sure.

Gonna keep it simple with store bought beer battered filets and frozen fries tonight...but will make some ho-made slaw for sure.

Terri, no matter what you call it, it is still cut throat swapping,,

I unplugged the outside incubator,, 85F is all it could muster,,

I have thermometer in the basement bator now,, waiting for it to get a good reading..

maybe in a week or two I can start up the outside bator again,,

that guy from Merrill just called,, I told him the puppy was sold,, He still wants to come and see what good dogs look like,, he should be here shortly..

better get at this bator before he gets here,, I have a feeling he will be spending some time here,,
