Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

What the heck?!? All of a sudden it's time to weed whack and mow the lawn!
DH has mowed twice down here already and it looks like it needs it again.

Let the madness begin.

I am trying to figure out how to get ahold of horse puckie. Most of the neighbors have horses, but I don't know them and i don't have a wagon to haul it home ...

the garden area is plowed, disked, and ready for me to rototill for planting. But it seems a little sandy and low in organics. Not enough compost ready yet to add to the garden. Any advise on how long to compost guinea coop bedding before it will be safe for the garden?

I just went over and asked and they were HAPPY to find a place for it. I bring over a dozen eggs for them every once in awhile.

AND they are happy to haul it over for me!

So I've done a lot of googling, but wanted to ask. My girls were hatched 1/26. I have a Buft Orpington, a Silver laced Wyandotte, and three Rhode Island reds. Any idea when i should start looking for eggs?

Hi All!

Yea, Neil was going to try to mow today but his legs wouldn't let him make it to the mower

I was trying to catch up inside and DH got home too late. It can't wait too long, it's already ankle deep!

I decided either I need more guineas or mine aren't doing their job! 4 ticks so far!

Nothing new, chicks are fine.... Night All!

Laying at 4-6 months is pretty normal Glarner! Keep watching combs grow and get redder and redder. Let me know if you want me to check out the girls...I can give best guess...
