the legs are grayish,,

we found a Stromberg's catalog,, they are spitting images of their black sex links..
Hybrid,, R I Red male / barred rock female..
I would agree with mutt, except all 50 or so the lady had were identical..

No matter to me, as long as they produce eggs..
I am not planning on setting any of their eggs.

Hey Jim, the all black ones look like my black girls, who the neighbor told me were sexlinks. or Production birds, is there a difference? Anyway, my girls are sweet and lay me eggs, so I don't care.

Fish Fry Friday to everyone...the outside cooker is going for walleye and home made fries....the stove in the house is cooking 22 quarts of V8 that we will can after super.....one just has to love this time of year....good to go for a cold one of choice now.

Hi All!

We had our FFF on Thur. DH has traded eggs for fish with a guy at his church. Theses last ones were Bluegills.

I have a sick hen. Her belly to her vent (but not her vent) are swollen and real mushy. Her comb ad eyes look good. She did have a messy bottom but not real bad. I soaked her in Epsom salts and warm water. I gently messaged her belly, but no poop. I have her in a kennel now. Ideas?

The danged tomatoes are taking forever to ripen and there are TONS of them. Only one red one so far and that was over a week ago. The hubs said a couple of people where he works said the same thing. Anyone else having this experience this year?
