IT WORKS!!!!!!

Nice pictures, Cuties!!

Jordy Nelson - say it ain't so!!! Tough one is right, BigZ!

On Friday We'll be getting some new critter boarders - rabbits and quail. A friend's cousin, a disabled vet, can no longer live at his home and needs to re-home himself and his critters. Right now he is in rehab at a local nursing home and his cousin has all of his livestock. We worked out an arrangement where he can come over and tend to his babies whenever he is able and I will do it when he cannot. After we worked out where his critters will reside he mentioned that I had room for his bees also. I'll sell his honey for him in the store. It should get pretty interesting around here. John is quite a colorful fellow to say the least. It's a pleasure to be able to help him out.

I've raised rabbits before but not quail or bees so I'm about to learn a lot. (Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?)

I had to say "no" to the ducks and geese, - hey, I'm not CRAZY! - and his cousin is holding onto the chickens for him. He's looking for a ground floor apartment nearby for when he gets released from rehab.

Wish us luck!

Hey, guys, I looked on BYC to see if I could find out something about poop color. One of my production girls(or sexlink) don't know which, yesterday started to poop a orange color poop, today she is pooping black with clear bubbly on top. I cannot find any info.......any advice? I have her separated in the tractor coop, brought her in and gave her a warm bath w/epson salt in the water. She slept on my lap for about an hour, hair dryer to her feathers and she went right to roost when we took her out to the tractor. Her eyes are clear, and her comb is red.....she was being picked on because I saw a tiny spot of blood on her comb and an area under one of her wings. Am concerned about the poop, tho.

Nice pics, cuties!

@irishrovr I have had rabbits for as long as I can remember; we got our family's first when I was in fifth grade and have had them straight through. My two are in the living room as we speak :)

I have had plenty of experiences with care, disease, etc., so let me know if you need help! Mine are pets, though- don't know if yours are more like livestock. I'd be more than willing to share advice. (edit: misread your post, thought you said you hadn't raised rabbits before, but I'm still willing to give advice if you- or anyone- needs rabbit advice!)

Tough Packer game today. Spent yesterday fishing though, had bass and pumpkinseed fish pan fried for dinner last night! Hubby was happy because I helped clean them. :)
