Also I thought I would ask on here. I posted this question on a different thread but no one responded all day. Just a question about one of my chicks. She has been sneezing occasionally and seems to be breathing a little faster then the rest of the chicks. She otherwise is doing great. She is running around, eating, drinking, normal bowel habits. I'm not sure what to make of this? She is growing well, is about 2 weeks old now and feathers are coming in nicely. She doesn't seem to be struggling to breath at all. She has no crusting around the nose. Eye look great. She is very friendly and interactive. She literally looks fine except for the occasional sneezing and breathing faster then her chick family. She is the only easter egger I have and I wonder if it is just normal for some breeds to have different metabolic rate? I would hate to rush out and get antibiotics when she literally seems to be doing well except for breathing faster and occasionally sneezing. All the other chicks look great as well.
Any thoughts?
