Off to Merrill to test drive a new vehicle for the wife. She wants a suv so she's gonna get one. The dealership were going to is over 2 grand higher on trade in. All dealerships are thieves but let me tell you what, this place is being more than generous. I'm actually kind of excited.

I'm up and adam ,
showered, shaved and half cuppa'd up already.
the people from Maple Wisc are coming here around 9AM to get the puppy.

we got missed by the 5 o'clock storm yesterday.
good thing we had the 10 AM shower.

we are all done with the beans. about 40 pints frozen.
calling people to come pick if they want to.
they will be ready to pick on Saturday. if nobody cares to pick, I am going to plow them under .

I might have to stretch a couple hundred feet of hose to the new lawn seeding. gotta keep those seeds moist or they won't sprout. doesn't look like much rain in the near forecast.

You could always pick the rest of the beans and donate them to a food pantry.

Not much here. Just bought a fishing license for Wisc., hubby and I plan to do some fishing this weekend!

I wish you lived closer Jim all of our beans died this year and we didn't get a one. DH2B thinks the wind blew the pesticides from the field around the house into the garden everything suffered. I don't really know too much about that stuff yet though. All I know is we only have tomatoes that haven't given us one yet despite being huge and some Bell pepper plants that look very sad. 3 years and we've never had luck with peppers here. At my grandparents' we always couldn't give enough away.

If anyone near us has extra veggies let me know. Thanks in the mean time if you would all please come teach our garden what's what I'd appreciate it. Lol.

Fish Fry Friday a perfect fry again tonight! I just love the ho-made fries and fish cooked outside. We were nailed with lightning yesterday and have no land line phone. The telemarketers will have no luck here till later in the week next week when the stellar phone company has time to fix it and I have service again. Frontier Service Sucks....avoid them at all costs if you can.

Corn Roast at Camp last night....we cooked 10 doz of the nicest corn I've seen in years.....big mature sweeeeet cobs....the local farmer sold us ten doz for the price of 8 doz...2.90 per doz....great deal, and I'm buying 10 doz next week for freezing and canning from him.I can't grow it for that.

I had shrimp for dinner and crab legs for supper.
fresh potatoes from the garden.. Annie dug up two plants and has enough for 3 meals.. Nice thin skinned ones. I like to eat the skins if they are not too thick..

the puppy transfer went without a hitch,, I sure miss not having her to trip on with each step I take.. she went to a small sheep farm.. there are 2 other Maremma there one from our litter from last year. plus a border collie.

Was traveling and went to green lake county fair. Saw a Belgian Bearded d'Uccle bantam that got reserve champion. So beautiful!!
