Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

You absolutely can
x2 however, I don't know exactly the procedure,
I would guess you wait until new growth comes on and then take cuttings.

and Yes, I started some grapes in water and some in dirt.
both attempts are doing fine.

I am going to try planting them directly into a row when the
weather warms up. maybe in June..
I will watch the existing grapes and when they are doing good
that is when I will do the transplants.

I will have plenty of room in my bators.

I feed Sprout Layer crumbles and have additional oyster shell available and still get soft shelled eggs occasionally.

I believe that it is just one of the chickens that is having the egg laying problems as this has been happening from Day 1 and is fairly infrequent. I occasionally find a slightly deformed egg in the nest box - ie. pointy tip, little swirl nobs on the shell, extra long like it has had an additional section of eggshell added to the middle length of the egg.

I have had both of those things happen off and on .
it just happens.
I had a royal palm turkey that laid nothing but soft shelled eggs while all the other hens were normal layers

Agree with Jim, I think it just happens too, however sounds like you may have a "high achiever" when it comes to shell issues. We would call that a stock bird... as in soup stock

Spring cleaned the coop yesterday while the weather was nice, most of my help ended up at the neighbor's house to play, dd stayed to help her daddy with his demolition project. 14 years in this state and he finally bought a boat to fish for musky. It is an old Tuffy and in need of a redo, right up his ally. By the time she was done helping him yesterday, 3/4 of the interior was torn out and he has straps holding the sides plumb. Appears someone else may have redone it at one point and they neglected to glass in the stringers and part of the livewell so the floor was rotten as was one of the sides. They had fun. I had chicken poo up to my elbows.. oh well.

Since I had the roosts and poop board out of the way, I decided to rebuild the nest boxes. Hubby made them too small so I took them apart, grabbed his saw, cut new sides. The girls now have an extra 4 inches to stand. Pretty proud of myself, even managed to keep all my fingers and only said one bad word through the whole project. Stuck a couple eggs in there so we will see if they use them.

One last note. May still get new baby chicks next week. Darn chicken math.

good morning,
GG, sounds like you are on a working vacation .
I have two project boats here.
One 15 ft Gaycraft. they used to make them in Schofield.
One 16 ft Aluminum deep hull. someone built livewells and seats etc. out of 3/4 inch plywood. makes it heavy as heII.
I should just give them away to some ambitious guy.
they both have trailers. the tires are prolly rotten .

I thought some more about that rose bush,
I would take some scions right now and see how it goes.
then you can always get some new wood early in the summer also.

so far all I have planned for today is to take the garbage to the road. and then clean the alum cans out of the pu truck.
I charged the battery yesterday, tomorrow morning I am taking it to Kronnenwetter to Kurt so he can do the brake

after that I want to go get a couple loads of horse siht.
I wish I had a dump truck or dump trailer.
